Actually, prone is still more accurate than standing. Its just you need to wait a few seconds for your guy to settle on the ground (noted by your crosshair shrinking), and then you can fire accurately. They did this to get rid of bunny hopping dolphin diving fucktards like I'm guessing you might be.

EA said: Just now you can't instaprone someone that by rights should have filled your back with shotgun shells before you knew what was happening.
