This is a cover by a different genre, and actually by one of the greatest guitarist of all time, and I like this cover better :)

Nah you shouldn't be comparing GNR's version. They made it more rock and it lost the mood and meaning of the original song. I like their version too, but Eric's and the original version are better in my opinion.
