Papis sexual orientation doesn't have to dictate ur social life.
I am a mascl blatino, party wherever I wish,
I am over 30, I'm med thick with a muscular build and I couldn't give any less than a rat's asshole about what someone who is not doing anything for me has to say about my choice. because I am my own person and the life I live is mine to answer to only by God.
when you get to that point you will be free of waistlines, age restrictions, labels and all the foolishness that doesn't count.
I don't know about being too OLD to be in the club but maybe there is a point where you feel to grown to be there. I don't do the clubs as much now and Def not every weekend.I'm only 31....well i guess that is kinda old in our community. Here's a suggestion...if you think the two step goes with every song ( maybe you should think about stayin home...or doing dinner and a movie instead)
Chaos3813 is right. It is a personal choice; however, It would look suspect for a gay man or any man who is in his 40's and in the club every weekend. That is one of the problems with this country, this infantile view of life that we don't have to grow up and be responsible, we can just have fun and party forever. I have a problem with that notion. First, having fun doesn't ALWAYS mean clubbing. Secondly, in our culture (American), there is something called age appropriateness. Lol
Honestly, i think there is an age but i think thats a personally thing. Personally I would appreciate an older crowds because clubs now are filled with nothing but children (16-23/24) and their molesters, but maybe that is just a philly thing.
its not too old...thats gay shit..in the st8 clubs you will see all ages and no one cares...its these lame loose booty sissies thats always tryna put somebody down and they think they gon be young foreva.
Gay clubs are not quite like str8 ones, our clubs are lil more like community centers, meeting place, place to escape str8 world pressures, shame, & to get some jiggly butt etc...
Aint never too late for fun y'all. Always had respect for older guys, who wanna live free in clubs, we would always say, "they had a harder life than us... (respect). As gays, we know the pain of judgement all too much. One of the things im proud of the gay community for is less judgement. Oh sure, there will be jaded types that will, but hopefully, they will remember not to judge our own. 1 LIFE
There should be and is a self-selection process on the age thing after a certain age people know they are too old and tend to be fed up with the silliness of the club scene ...however it also depends on the city and the choices available to guys who have hit what some call the "magic age" of 40 y.o. ..in some cities there are places for the "older set" but alas most people /places do excercise some ageism..........That's my spin on things .............with respect
I'm 21 & believe that if you a mess you're gon look a mess regardless of your age. If you think you look a mess, you probably do. If someone goes further to tell you, you damn sure are, and you need to quit asap. But if your doing you, JUST BE YOURSELF, who really cares?
Im 45 and have been in the scene since my late teens, and I am NOT OLD..older,yes,wiser yes,but I look pretty much the same as I did 15 years ago,and I get plenty of play from the younger guys, you fools act like you will stay 20 4ever!Trust me..YOU WON'T,SOME OF YA'LL BETTER PRAY YOU EVEN MAKE IT TO 40.
Live your life at any age, contrary to someone elses precepts. Those who make the largest number of disparaging remarks about getting older undergo the biggest crises when the inevitably reach the age they maligned.
I will follow you on facebook Jared I got you already Adam. I'd like to think their is no age limit for a gay male to be too old for the club; but if they are on the dance floor poppin it lets hope they look young and are not pullin muscles. "Stay at the bar older guy please." Age limit 40's
35 to 40 I would say is when the kids might wanna start winding it on down. By that time one should inherently be over all the extra that comes along with regular club hopping anyway.
What a dynamic duo you two make for. Good to see you both again Jared and Adam! Hurry back cuz I want some more ~

if you're in a club and you look around and you could father almost 80% of the people in there, YOUR ASS IS TOO OLD TO BE THERE!
