I was based at SJAFB for 3 years and loved i used to work EOR (where the jets go before they take off) about 2 a month for a week and loved it i miss the hell out of it now
on the east side of the airfield, right outside the fence, is a paved road. cant tell you how to get there really, cause I dont know the names of the roads, but go explore the east side of the base....you will find it eventually....

yeah its awesome to go there right at dusk.....you see the ABs so well. i have to drive 2 hours round trip to get to Seymour Johnson.
