You kid has skills. Great job! My son Jordan has had to opportunity to play against him hopefully one day they can team up and represent Pinoy Basketball.
How tall are the parents? Nice skills, but the problem with Pinoy kids is that they dont' grow any taller, and are pysically passed by other kids as they grow older.
Have him play travel ball against the toughest teams you can find. That will make him better. He'll be able to hang for sure in the next 2-3 years, but if he doesn't grow to at least 5-10", then he'll have problems beyond high school ball.
@lunna004 time to wake up guys, although we pinoys love basketball,, never will we be able to excel in it,,,we have the skill but we dong have the vertical measurement needed to excel in this sport,,,, why dont we shift to soccer,, FIFA,,, its a world sport,,, look at Korea and Japan,, same height as the pinoy,,, they made it to world cup,,,I know we could do better than them,,,
APOLLO!! IS YOUR COUSIN JC BRO!! MAN I'VE WATCHED THIS VIDEO OVER AND OVER AND EVEN SHOWED IT TO ALL MY HOMIES MAN! IM SO PROUD OF RYAN! LEMME KNOW WHEN HE HAS GAMES. ILL DEFINATELY COME DOWN AND SHOW SUPPORT!
One thinng you have to have to be the best... this kid will have problems geting that. Modesty, team spirit and controled ego. Dont rise him that high, if he falls, it will be a disaster for him as a person.
ntnh special, i hope that he will be new Jordan, but... There's jus one 23, one Jordan and one god of basketball... Chicago 4ever in our harts. Greatings from Serbia!
This video was just to show his ball handling skills as well as his shooting skills, and not to make him look like a one man show. These are just his highlighted moments through out his season. He is always striving to work hard on different parts of his game including passing the ball and being a team player. By the way he is playing teams that are 10 years old in these videos. Thanks again and we hope you continue to watch as he grows. Salamatsa yo suporta.
I want to thank all of you for taking the time to look at this video. I also appreciate all the comments that you've posted. This video was made to show the results of what hard work and passion for the game can do to a 9 year old.
@Victorio247 your kid's got skills. keep it up! he knows how to shoot, dribble, anticipate and defend. next time try playing him against older kids to increase his basketball i.q. and competition. he's clearly advanced for his age. as an individual he's great, you should put him in a strong team with a good coach so that he can be used to playing in a good system. always keep him challenged so that he can reach his maximum potential. good luck!
at 9 years old, damn, this kid has infinite potential keep up the good work, i want to see a 9 yr old kobe bryant getting bitch slapped by this kid. . .
My lil cousin will take that kid. Watch out for Jonathon Almogela out of the bay area. Hes 9 years old too but he plays against middle school kids. Wheres the kid from?
He's young and doing great, and he'll have more time to learn how to pass. What he's doing now is a very critical skill that he perfected while on a young age ... he'll listen to a great coach someday ..
