Also, this is the best Superman show ever. Smallville has had its moments, but Lois & Clark celebrated the magic and brilliance of Superman as a real person more than any other show.

Not to mention, it's the only Superman show other than the George Reeves one that doesn't spend its time jacking off to the Richard Donner version.

Yeah, that was something they never really explained. I reckon it was to help him control his heat vision.

Also, I like to think that Clark had some kind of super-hypnosis in this show to stop people realising that he was blatantly Superman.

i like the dark blue which is the same color as in the '90s cartoons - better than donner's sky blue

btw - his cape is supposed to be the blanket he came to earth wrapped in (not the stupid blue blanket she showed) - and did any1 notice how he didnt turn around to show the "S" on the cape? that would've ruined martha's "orig" idea of putting the "S" on his chest (hate how other shows dont have the "S" on the cape)

also, clark kent shouldnt wear glasses b4 he gets to the daily planet, imho

@mephatboi When DC Comics redid superman in the 90s, Martha made his costume too. If you can find it, The Man Of Steel, a four issue mini series by artist John Bryne was a big hit then. Bryne reinvented him, making him less super and more human. He also had his earth parents stay alive. I haven't kept up on Superman for some time. I think his earth father had a heart attack and Lois and him were seperated/divorced. She couldn't handle him saving the world and not being their for her.
