Processing a photo in Adobe Lightroom 2

Hey so is it possible to get a cd-rom of lightroom and then install the software to by computer or do I have to download the software from the site?? If I download from the site, wouldn't that mean I can only download to that computer whereas if I get an actual disk I can install the software onto both my computers.?. If I download from the site could I still install the program onto multiple computers? Any help will be great..thank you in advance

@Mozo901 You can get a CD or download it. You can install on it as many computers as you license it for, from what I understand.

what are the specs of your PC. Lightroom is very snappy on yours.

Intel Core 2, Quad @2.66 Mhz, 4 gb of RAM but only 3.2 being used due to 32 bit.

Play around with the settings and make sure your on the latest version of it. Witting the XMP side files takes processessing time away.

That's really cool. I like playing with my photo editing program. It gives me good end results, but it works with drop-down type tools for all operations. Yours has all the tools available at once on the side-bar. That's a big convenience and time saver.

I also like the ability to sharpen a selected area easily. With mine I have to outline the area, then select it, then adjust it. Very nice program.
