Hey, what kind of intel i7 processor is this, and how much did you buy this laptop for. please send me a link of it to buy it from dell okay please reply asap bye have fun with your laptop :)
This video makes no sense. That doesn't test the processor. Just the harddrive lol. You should have tested how long it takes to load all your programs.
@DargetaZ hey sorry its taken me so long to reply, but the boot time before was really good and I think the reason it was so slow in this video was I had just installed some updates. (now I get around 20-25 secs.) As for question number two...I had my own diisk they do not provided :/
@evanjamesmallon No its clean because I did this the same day I got it...I agree that it was very slow so I'm going to make another video cuz now I get anywhere from 10-25 secs :)
i really want to get this notebook, but i dont seem to see the specs (i7 processor and 720 gb hd) in the dell main site, you know, where you can customize and stuff!
@snandha well thats a tough decision because I was in the same place. The reason I went with the Dell was that an equally configured MacBook Pro was about $1000 USD more! I couldn't spend that much. I personally love both apple and dell i use both, and I dont want to start a fanboy war or anything but I am perfectly happy with my dell! :) It comes down to 1. Budget and 2. Preference of OS. (But this thing is GREAT for multimedia) let me know if you have any questions :)
@SrTb0y05 Make sure you get the 1080p screen though. The 720p screen is far worse than the screen in the 15" macbook pro, but the 1080p screen is quite a bit better.
@SilverJigGames haha YEAH ANDROID FTW!!!! >.< haha but the sound is actually very good! I'll include some info about it but the only thing I dont like is that Dell took out the JBL Sub-Woofer that was in the XPS 15 series so the bass isnt as great but the sound is seriously above average :)
name of the song in 4:10 please !!

Slow! Put a clean install of some linux distro on there like Kubuntu and THEN snap your fingers!
I hope to stay in touch in the future. Really, in the future!

@nortexoid hahaha yeah this was a pretty slow boot for some reason. I was suprised because normally it only takes around 25-30 seconds
ZachsTechHelp101 9 months ago
@ZachsTechHelp101 Get an ssd and your boot times will be halved
lindstedt56 8 months ago
@nortexoid Don't forget to keep snapping with your fingers since you can't do anything else with it.

What hard drive do you have? Start up time is decided more by the hard drive and OS than by the processor or memory.
