  • Worst pattern is the shark, by far.

  • Why am I even responding to these kids... but here it goes... Bowling is a sport... Are you seriously defining what a sport is simply by saying "someone off the street can beat a pro?". Um, have you ever been at a Pro-Am tournament of ANY KIND? I've seen amateurs beat pros in golf on many occasions as well as many other sports. People that try to make an argument about how bowling is not a sport is a direct giveaway that they SUCK AT BOWLING. Get lessons...Learn the game...Gain respect...

  • @dcpsx I'm actually a 235 average bowler...And a PBA member. I'll give you my name, you can look at my 28 300's, 18 800's...I know the game. You said it, learn the GAME! I have been through enough games to realize there is a LOT of luck involved. I bowled with my best friend a few times and he shot a 222 at me. Literally bowled 10ish times in his life. Of course, he had Brooklyn strikes and such but I leave the whole back row and shoot 215 to lose. Good shots only COULD be good in bowling...

  • @ThBstFSxy Luck is part of every sport. Have you ever been in a golf tournament and seen a wild drive hit a tree to come out to land <80 yards from the green in the center of the fairway? I have, nearly every time I play... The argument was about whether bowling is a sport. I completely agree, bowling is about giving yourself the best CHANCE of striking, not necessarily guaranteeing yourself a strike. Once again golf, hit the pin and have your ball roll 30 yards away on a seemingly perfect shot.

  • Do this, take a random person off the street who has bowled only a few times in his life and put him up against Wes. I guarantee they will win 1 game. Now, take a person who has only played basketball a few times, they would NEVER win a game against Kobe, why...? Because if you shoot an air ball, it is still an AIR BALL. If you miss the head pin or pocket it could still be a STRIKE. A good shot in basketball (swish) remains good... a good shot in bowling (pocket) only COULD be good. VICTORY! :)

  • @ThBstFSxy A random bowler on the street who has only bowled a few times in his life would not win against wes. They are not consistent enough.

  • @HAMHOTPOT Who says you have to be consistent to beat someone in bowling? Have you ever left a pocket 7-10... Didn't someone on live TV leave two in a row? Now, the guy off the street picks up a ball, goes straight through the face and strikes. Sounds like a fair trade to me, right? Have you ever seen a pro throw a Brooklyn strike? How is that skill or consistent? Yes, there is a difference between all sports, but here it doesn't matter how well you or I throw the ball, a pin could still stand.

  • @ThBstFSxy A whole game consists of 12 frames. All of the frames being opens/7-10s would be highly unlikely. Not just one shot. Also if that happened do you think people would just shrug it off and regard it as normal? No, it's a rare occurance and not likely Yes, it is possible the amateur could win. But it is more likely it likely that the pro would win. That is all I;m trying to say here. The same thing could happen in another sport (just not as likely)

  • they have bowling on espn?

  • @guitarninjaz23 ESPN broadcasts sports, Bowling is a sport, would make sense, wouldn't it?

  • @wiiman0001 No, bowling is a game, not a sport. A round object hitting round objects relies more on luck/chance compared to other actual sports. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying anything bad about the game, it just shouldn't be put in the same category as basketball, baseball, tennis... Think of it this way, anyone can beat anyone in bowling... Anyone can't beat anyone in an actual sport

  • @ThBstFSxy Actually, anyone can't beat anyone in bowling. If you get a kid who has just picked up a bowling ball for the first time in his/her life against a kid the same age who has been bowling for a few years, the kid who has been bowling for a few years will win 99 times out of 100. But in a way the same thing goes for any sport. If Kobe and the Lakers are 81-0 and the Nets are 0-81 going into the last game of the season the Nets could blow them away.

  • @wiiman0001 Let's not use kids, kids aren't professionals. Also, I'm not saying a team of bowlers, just a single bowler. On that note, take your "Kobe Bryant", you play him 100 games, how many will you win? Absolutely none because his skill level out surpasses yours in so many ways but say you bowl Wes Malott or Chris Barnes 100 games, how many will you win? I would bet at least 1. You could throw 10 good shots in a game and shoot 180 because bowling isn't based on skill... It's more on luck

  • @ThBstFSxy Yes, Bowling has luck involved obviously, but so does every single other sport on this planet. In a game to 21 against Kobe, I think anyone with at least a tiny bit of skill in basketball could sneak 1 win out, same with bowling, but with bowling, Chris Barnes and Wes Malott are so good that they can repeat their same shot over and over and over, whereas just a normal league bowler might also be able to get "lucky" and sneak 1 win out. Same goes for any sport.

  • Wes was throwing the WRONG ball.

  • Viper and Chameleon, worst Pba patterns, anyone agree?

  • @sk8rbanger Whats the differency between the Viper & Chameleon patterns?

  • @katanamast279 the viper is a little heavier with the oil on the outside part of the lane, whereas the chameleon is fairly heavy towards the middle part, and not terribly dry on the outside, but managably dry.

  • @katanamast279 Length of the pattern. Viper is 37 feet and chameleon is 39 feet.

  • @sk8rbanger *the most challenging PBA patterns.. why worst?

  • @sk8rbanger They are my favorites. Third favorite is scorpion.

  • Thanx for this!

  • thanks so much for the fast upload!!!
