oh, i didn't know there was an Arabic version. its probably that language that suites the environment but its only different as spanish sounds different from portages.
i dont know the difference between spanish to portages but the arabic accent and the way you say the word (pace/ tempo /rhythm i dont know what suits more to this situation) is completely different in arabic.

do you think its fair to use a hebrew wiki? how would i even discuss with you in a language i dont know? & whats the diffrence anyway if you already think arabs began the war in your country what would a Hebrew wiki present?
Hey! Relax. The Arab-Israeli conflict's been going on for decades. It was sparked when Jews returned to their ancestral home which was also the Arabs' one. Ever since they have been fighting. The Arabs didn't accept the UN proposal, true, but Israel's been fighting dirty too.
so? they still can say it plus arabic has a letter that doesnt exist in any other language in the world & there is nothing called more throat the deepest letter in arabic is the same in hebrew this make no sense
no offense to hebrews - i'm a non-arab and a non-hebrew/jew, but i personally find arabic easier to speak, it's more smooth-going and sound nicer. though, i don't deny the semitic relation between the two languages and hebrew sounds nice in this song.
well, both hebrew and arabic contain many sounds that don't exist in english...although certain letters in arabic (like 'ayin and ha) are particularly difficult for non-natives to pronounce
Arabic and Hebrew are Semitic languages, which means they are related, personally I think that is one great reason why Israel should make peace with the Palestinians and the Arab World, because that makes them sort of like family.
well baghdads location its in the heart of the ancient persian empire dont know in which time the story is set and hebrew its faaaar away from being the "original" language perhaps turkish or parsi depending of the time
baghdad originally wasn't originally a persian city. iraq and persia are two different countries and have two different civilisations. have u ever considered prophet abraham persian? no, he wasn't - he was a babylonian from ur, iraq. iraq was the cradle of babylonian, sumerian and akkadian civilisations before the persians took over. some time after muhammad, it become part of the arab muslim empire, and since then had become an arab nation.
so, my point is baghdad is in iraq and probably the city was called a different name back then when it was under babylonian, akkadian and sumerian rule. so, it's not a persian city. persepolis is a persian city.
hebrew its not arabic its semitic and it depends in what time if its set in medieval age its(around 1200) probably turkish or egyptian(ayyubid egypt) are the "original" language but if its set in ancient times it must be parsi(persian)no way it can be hebrew because its a semitic language just spoken around the east coast of mediterranean and its supposed this city is based on baghdad which is located very far away from the semitic cities(jerusalem etc etc) definately persian or turk
wow that was so cool! even though Aladdin isn't Hebrew it sounds more right for some reason. now I'd really like to see what this song sounds like in Farsi/Arabic!
I love his voice, some parts sound amazing, some parts sound a little eh.
And in terms of exactly where it's set, it's hard to tell. Seems like it's set in the Arabian Desert, but the culture of this kingdom seems to blend those of the Arabians, Persians, and the variety of tribes inside and outside of India.
Eh who knows, it shouldn't matter, it's meant to just be a fun movie.
i speak urdu and follow bit of farsi and hebrew sounds like farsi (and maybe arabic)and not like any european language though the israelis think of themselves as european and not mideastern...anyway egypt, mesopotamia-iran, india and china existed before the west as we know it had any high culture
also all countries in the asian middle-east and central asia derive many things mainly from iran and to lesser extent india....
Israelis only consider themselves Europeans for trades and some subjects. Such as sport, music (Eurovision) and such. If we'd consider ourselves europeans wouldn't we use the Euro rather than the Shekel?
Anyway, my main point was just to inform you where you were wrong with that statement.
Ask any Israeli - We're from Asia. If you want it more precise? The Middle East.
So please stop making false statements about what Israelis think.
seriously i dont think that is so arabian, many things in those movie reminds more the indian or persian world than arabian, at least mediterranic one.the movie the prince of egypt reminds more those region than that. tigers in middle east????
Persian would be Middle Eastern. After all, it was around the area of Iran,Pakistan, all thise places where it's the Middle East. I guess you would just have to try and think of what time frame this would be at, if you really wanted to. After all, this is an animated movie, it really don't matter too much, true?
pakistan, india are not in middle east, it ends in iran( persia), it is last middle eastern country. it was after 9/11 that people became put everything at the same boat, but afghanistan, pakistan and india dont belong to middle east. i use to listen people calling arabs to pakistanis or persians, and to think that all arabs are muslims when in U.S. mostly arbs are christians.
I WAS commenting on the vid here, so I really don't wish to get caught up in a political and geographic disscussion. It'll just breed arguements, which isn't a good thing. ;)
My first sentence as a child was idiots! we have swords too you know! (in hebrew) :3

"R" is not a rolling "R" in Hebrew, it is a French "R" in Hebrew.

i'm not dissing the language just the pronunciation. i know hebrew.

hebrew sounds less agressive?
Arabic doesnt sound agressive at all
ow yes ^^ i think ur just racist on arabic
that's it
Anyway , hebrew and arabic are semits languages , they must be related
kawaienvy123 3 years ago
no I'm not racist...I have many arabic friends...and I don't think that hebrew is a preety language... although im an israeli.
just in my opinion. arabic is a little agressive...
mayale147 3 years ago
Arabic has more throat and palate vowels.
Plus they don't have the letter P.
pastelico 3 years ago
so? they still can say it plus arabic has a letter that doesnt exist in any other language in the world & there is nothing called more throat the deepest letter in arabic is the same in hebrew this make no sense
blue19911991 3 years ago
I didn't understand shit of what you just said.
Use punctuation.
pastelico 3 years ago
It's not, but the sounds are very alike and their are a few borrowed words.
amiry8 3 years ago
yes it is very similar
fairyprincess1234 3 years ago
oki for for the last time...
there are similar words but that's it!
it doesn't sound the same at all!
so stop saying that.. the grammer is not the same, the accent, just some words. here it's over.
and why someone needs to compare? hebrew it's hebrew and arabic is arabic.

no offense to hebrews - i'm a non-arab and a non-hebrew/jew, but i personally find arabic easier to speak, it's more smooth-going and sound nicer. though, i don't deny the semitic relation between the two languages and hebrew sounds nice in this song.

plus, aladdin really looks like a jew with that small cap on his head, and so hebrew singing suits him too. ;)

well, both hebrew and arabic contain many sounds that don't exist in english...although certain letters in arabic (like 'ayin and ha) are particularly difficult for non-natives to pronounce
both are beautiful languages, though
Clancy1326 3 years ago
hebrew also had ayin and ha

It sounds like a very hard language to sing fast in. They did a pretty good job though
SerenaDoll 3 years ago 5
It depends on the line you have to sing.
Personally, no matter in Hebrew or English I just can't sing fast but can talk fast.
vegishishkabab 3 years ago
Arabic and Hebrew are Semitic languages, which means they are related, personally I think that is one great reason why Israel should make peace with the Palestinians and the Arab World, because that makes them sort of like family.
nobodysperfect06 4 years ago 12
well baghdads location its in the heart of the ancient persian empire dont know in which time the story is set and hebrew its faaaar away from being the "original" language perhaps turkish or parsi depending of the time
tlatoani3 4 years ago
baghdad originally wasn't originally a persian city. iraq and persia are two different countries and have two different civilisations. have u ever considered prophet abraham persian? no, he wasn't - he was a babylonian from ur, iraq. iraq was the cradle of babylonian, sumerian and akkadian civilisations before the persians took over. some time after muhammad, it become part of the arab muslim empire, and since then had become an arab nation.
mjay22 3 years ago
so, my point is baghdad is in iraq and probably the city was called a different name back then when it was under babylonian, akkadian and sumerian rule. so, it's not a persian city. persepolis is a persian city.

Hebrew is close to Arabic so this is ALMOST the orginal voice! ^^
Gingagirl 4 years ago
what you mean "the original voice"? the original voice is english not arabic!!its about arab culture yes...but the original is not arabic!
msapir3 4 years ago 3
Yes, but because it's about Arab culture, Arabic (or rather Persian?) is the "original".
It's like "Beauty and the Beast" in French.
orin12345678 4 years ago
hebrew its not arabic its semitic and it depends in what time if its set in medieval age its(around 1200) probably turkish or egyptian(ayyubid egypt) are the "original" language but if its set in ancient times it must be parsi(persian)no way it can be hebrew because its a semitic language just spoken around the east coast of mediterranean and its supposed this city is based on baghdad which is located very far away from the semitic cities(jerusalem etc etc) definately persian or turk
tlatoani3 4 years ago
I just meant the Arabic and Hebrew are similiar.

HahaImCool05 4 years ago
its set in saudi arabia. the opening song is called arabian nights. trust me this is my all time fav movie

i speak urdu and follow bit of farsi and hebrew sounds like farsi (and maybe arabic)and not like any european language though the israelis think of themselves as european and not mideastern...anyway egypt, mesopotamia-iran, india and china existed before the west as we know it had any high culture
also all countries in the asian middle-east and central asia derive many things mainly from iran and to lesser extent india....
harikuttanp 4 years ago
And what's your point?
KomradeShakhaf 4 years ago
hebrew is in the same familiy as arabic and aramic, but the israeli culture is european

So please stop making false statements about what Israelis think.
pastelico 4 years ago 7
seriously i dont think that is so arabian, many things in those movie reminds more the indian or persian world than arabian, at least mediterranic one.the movie the prince of egypt reminds more those region than that. tigers in middle east????
ytil 4 years ago
Persian would be Middle Eastern. After all, it was around the area of Iran,Pakistan, all thise places where it's the Middle East. I guess you would just have to try and think of what time frame this would be at, if you really wanted to. After all, this is an animated movie, it really don't matter too much, true?
LightsaberWieder 4 years ago
pakistan, india are not in middle east, it ends in iran( persia), it is last middle eastern country. it was after 9/11 that people became put everything at the same boat, but afghanistan, pakistan and india dont belong to middle east. i use to listen people calling arabs to pakistanis or persians, and to think that all arabs are muslims when in U.S. mostly arbs are christians.

I WAS commenting on the vid here, so I really don't wish to get caught up in a political and geographic disscussion. It'll just breed arguements, which isn't a good thing. ;)
