This was Max In Love 1, I think this was a Clip that shouldn't of been heard, or someone modified it really well...They were at a Auction and Max wanted to buy earrings for his Lady Friend Charlette, and Jonathon asked the Auctioneer to Withdraw the Earrings...(4:27) he asked Jennifer if she liked something that was being Bid on before the Drop Earrings and she said No, not for an Arm & Leg, and I think thats where that came from when Jonathon's replied...Hoped this helped...

Thank you, Cindy...You're right...I found the clip right away. In the clip Jonathan asks Jenn "Do you like it ?", and Jenn says "..., but for an arm and a leg, no thank you." Jonathan then says, "I'm glad, because I like your arms and your legs the way they are". Thank you for helping me out with this one, I was completely stumped. The role of Margot Channing in "Applause"(originally played by Lauren Bacall) came alone in 1996, just as they were finishing up the last Hart to Hart movie "Till Death Do Us Hart" in Germany. Stefanie saw her chance to fulfill her lifelong dream of being on Broadway, and took it. Mr. Wagner, in the meantime, had 3 more Hart to Hart movies in mind. She passed at the time, chosing instead to tour with the musical 'Applause".

The only thing that he said about her in his book that was negative was that he was offered ten million dollars to produce 3 more Hart to Hart movies, and she opted out to go on tour with the stage play "Applause". He felt that she betrayed the rest of the cast and crew. Believe it or not, People CAN HAVE professional disputes without losing a very close friendship over it. It stung, and he was mad...but their relationship withstood it. It is as solid as ever. Stef said so herself a while ago.

I have always been a big fan of H2H but after reading RJ's book I feel a little differently. I had hoped the chemistry they had on camera was true in real life. I think RJ was in love with Stefanie & maybe they had a sexual relationship, but I do not feel she felt the same way about him. I think he was hurt by this & has never really got over it. I think Jill may have always had her suspicions regarding RJ's feelings for Stefanie & that is why did not talk too nicely about Stef in his book.

But here is the debate: When you establish a friendship with the opposite sex does the relationship go sour because both decided to take things to the next level? Sex can certainly ruin a friendship between a man and a woman. I wonder if that is what happened with RJ and Stef.

I don't think he "Dissed" her in his book. I think whatever they had together was meant to be kept private, something they both agreed to. My opinion only.

I was so disappointed when I read RJ's book. I always thought that they are close friends. I guess RJ was in love with Stefanie but he did not want him. In their interviews even in the late ones you can see that he obviously loves her. Maybe he was hurt that she didn' t want to go on with heart to heart. And I also believe that Jill is and always was jealous because they had that chemistry. So he wrote in his book that Jill was better in Lover Letters than Stef.

Now this wouldn't have bothered me so much if RJ hadn't been singing Stef's praises for years, and telling everyone how he loves, cares, and adores her. I recently looked at the reviews on amazon, and many were turned off by his use of profanity and him bragging about how many famous actresses he slept with. When I talk to fellow fans who have read the book...they all say the samething: "That RJ became famous by his associations." It's hurting my "heart" that he's become shallow and conceded!
