In the absence of the Bible, which didn't even exist before King James said, "This is some good shit!" the people of the world needed an exception for violating the word of God since they were largely illiterate and had to rely on someone else to tell them what was good and holy. I haven't been doing anything Christianish my entire life, and so I am expecting to burn in hell. Or whatever place I end up in since all religions are true unless they're not devoted to this one God.

I believe he will choose the latter. They know God exist they just don't like God. They think God is immoral and all these other accusations they bring against HIM because they don't know HIM. But he will prove His existence when it's to late for him to repent, God is a genius. That's why He tells you to accept HIM while you are living because once you die. The deal is sealed.

Hitchens has excercised his right not to believe and now he await his fate. The death sentence is not his punishment. Although many would love to expedite the process. When he close his eyes in death and his soul seperate from his body and he become aware of what he could not see, that he now can see. I wonder what he will say? I didn't know? Science proved you didn't exist therefore I sided with science. or will he say I knew it but I rejected your existence because I didn't approve of you?

I can't listen to this without tearing up... especially because Hitchens is, in his own way, under a death sentence, just as Socrates was... and he speaks with just as much bravery and nobility as did Socrates. We are all very lucky to have Hitch.
