I agree with erectile defiencies and cosmetic surgery but not with the last too, the way you say it sounds damn egoistic, maybe i'm trippin' but my mother is dying on cancer you know and that's seriousely fucked up :-( What about a time machine AND a cure for those damn deceases!
@NIRVANA4LIFE123 Actually, Dave had a solo album before this under the name "Late!" The album was released only on cassette tape for a short time in the early 90's, so it's extremely hard to find.
ive always really liked the foo fighters, and as i go thru each phase in my life it seems like a new sound style becomes what i listen to for a while.
weeks months in hell with adderall widthdrawl and lots of life reflection has made me like this song in particular lately.
what an honest and funny remark, i only can appreciate you being male and horny all the time and are not afraid to admit it, besides, you obviously think your wife is smoking hot so i don't see the point why people marked this as inappropriate at all!
Hmm I believe that Nirvana album is called Bleach, not self titled. As for the song here, this is Foo's best album IMO. I think Exhausted is my favorite track, but this one is great too.
@TylerAlford a song you listen too while having a shower? cos i sometimes bring my CD player into the bathroom while I'm showering. Makes them so much more fun :)
this album was foo's best. Sorry but I feel that way. Listen to the shredding guitar in the opeing seconds. Wooooooooo! This album was right after Nirvana. This album is greaaaaaaaaat!
yea id agree with that.....all grohl's stuff right after nirvana is the best ....pocketwatch..this and the color and the shape are the best stuff...the newer stuff isnt as good
I can't stop listening to this song. I had never heard their first album, so I downloaded it the other day. This song is the shit. God bless Dave grohl.
foo fighters debut is def best. dave did all the songs solo...recorded and overdubbed all the tracks, except of course fo rthis one with dulli on lead.
one thing i really liked about nirvana songs was that the drums were crisp and clear-sounding. so why is dave's drumming on this album so muffled-sounding?
In the Nirvana songs Kurt wrote all the music, but almost all of Foo Fighters was written by Dave. Maybe it's an aspect of his wriing style, I don't know though. Maybe it's the recordings quality, but I don't hear any muffling that you hear. Maybe it's also how the tracks were layed on top of each other.
the drums sound AWESOME on this recording... fucking huge. They sound real... not overcompressed... Great sounding room... Just SO good. I'd take this drum sound over Butch Vig's any day.
idk if you can really consider this foo fighters. considering the fact that dave grohl recorded the whole album by himself with the help of Greg Dulli on this song but other than that this is all Dave Grohl
foo fighters, best band ever! never shall i forget them! they played a big role in my childhood. i personally think that only their new album echoes silence patience and grace isnt as good as the old ones... foo fighters for life!
Never owned this album b4. I heard a few songs off it after getting into Nirvana. Fast forward four years later and now i am hearing this stuff. Found a factory sealed LP of this album so i will be getting it. Vinyl all the way.
I love this album. You can hear alot of the old Nirvana influence in the early stuff (especially the drum beat in this track). It wasn't so obvious back then as it is now. They have matured a great deal these days though. It'll be 14 years since Kurt died next month. Can you believe that shit? Dave Grohl is bigger than ever!
yeah totaly agree its there best album i even bought the cassette way back in 1995! lol foo has good songs on all there albums but this album wow somany good songs never heard on radio
What guitar part did Greg Dulli play? did he play the part that Dave Grohl probably could've played but he didn't? cuz i didn't hear any complicated solos or anything, just that rhythm through the whole song, which eventually got kinda annoying
... in the description? as with every single song posted by this person on this album... probably my favourite album from my childhood, brings back lots of memories of the stuff i used to do listenin to it:D
