We did go back, 5 times. We haven't returned since Apollo 17 because NASA's budget was slashed during the Apollo program hence killing Apollo 18,19 and 20. This is a fact, not some conspiracy.
Why is no country going now? Cost–benefit analysis. It is too expensive and too dangerous compared to what they would get out of it. The US did it for political reasons, to beat the Soviets during the cold war as an alternative to war itself.

Chinese military technology for example is far beyond America in 69 if this is such an easy feat the Chinese definetely would want to do it to boost their standing. The Apollo program employed 400,000 people and tied up 5% of the budget thus contrary to your belief, very costly. All I can advise is to do your own research before making such erroneous assumptions. There is plenty of evidence to support the Apollo moon landing yet not 1 piece of evidence to support that it was a hoax. The entire academic and scientific community stands behind Apollo world wide for a reason.
@3KS26 It did in 1969. But the technology base is so much higher now than in 69. It wouldnt even cost a fraction of what it did in 69 and for a command economy like china it should be relatively easy to get done or at least attempt.

We did go back, 5 times. We haven't returned since Apollo 17 because NASA's budget was slashed during the Apollo program hence killing Apollo 18,19 and 20. This is a fact, not some conspiracy.
Why is no country going now? Cost–benefit analysis. It is too expensive and too dangerous compared to what they would get out of it. The US did it for political reasons, to beat the Soviets during the cold war as an alternative to war itself.

The Apollo program employed 400,000 people and tied up 5% of the budget thus contrary to your belief, very costly. All I can advise is to do your own research before making such erroneous assumptions. There is plenty of evidence to support the Apollo moon landing yet not 1 piece of evidence to support that it was a hoax. The entire academic and scientific community stands behind Apollo world wide for a reason.

It's not cryptic, he is just talking about new exploration, it's easy to jump to the conclusion that "removing one of truth's protective layers" refers to some cover-up. Maybe it's just referring to the vast amount we have yet to learn about the Cosmos. He is a scientist after-all. Also, without the "mood music" it's not so mysterious. :-)
