@galaxy241 Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis was fired by Prince because they were stuck in a snowstorm in Atlanta while recording the S.O.S. Band during the winter of '82 and missed a concert date with The Time....no big deal, because Prince's loss was a major gain later on for Alexander O'Neal, Cherelle, Captain Rapp, Change, and of course, Janet Jackson (just to name a few!)
Although this was a Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis "inspired" production, it wasn't actually produced by them... It was produced by Cletus Anderson out of Los Angeles, California.
A true classic! This is still my jam!! till this present day!! I can remember how this use to bump so hard and serious in the neighborhood! Everybody had this blasting in there car stereos back in the 80's .....Man the good old days boy ! I need a time machine to take me back when music life and love were real!!
