  • Ken was 5'9'' and Rod was 5'8'' according to the ATP World Tour website.

  • I'm an American and believe that pound for pound, these two players are as good as either of the top handful of players playing today. Yes, both were short relative to today's peers, but their racket skills are sublime and equal to any. Rod Laver is the best I have seen.

  • Either both those guys are really short, or the courts back then where 90ft long and 50 ft wide. O_o

  • @FinalFan0 Well Rod Laver was only 5"8, and he won 2 calander grand slams, 1 pro calander grand slam. Of course today standard players are easily over 6"0, but that is mainly due to better nutrition in society.
