I even compared 2 cards, and they only had the same pic, different name and descriptions. some were called like some of the legit cards i had. I did also come across some that seem to be shipped from Japanese cuz it's in obvious Japanese. 5 dollars spent on 200 yugioh card knockoffs... LOL

My Mom visited China Town and brought me pack a set of pokemon "Lazer stickers". It was SO obvious that they were fake. Nowhere on the pack did it even mention the words pokemon or nintendo. Plus, for some reason raichu was green and yellow? Seriously? What the crap.

found it hilarious one time when I got some packs of pokemon cards from a flea market, when I opened them, it was obvious they were fakes, most noticable was the ones that originally were holographic, but were copied onto normal cards, and you could still see the holo effect on it :)

i'm not quite an expert, but i'll share what i've found while collecting (also, can i buy some of those fake off you cheap, i collect both because its always fascinating to see how close/far from the original they are) anyway. 1:The biggest are typos. there are 2 or 3 cards that do have them, but nintendo are prideful of them. 2: If you use a certain wattage of bulb (i find 50w best) the official won't show through at all, but most fakes will. finally, watch for centeredness and such.

I'm a Pokemon expert and you can defeniatly flood the world with all the knock-offs. The Sets you have are obviously fake, a Makuhita and Zangoose common would not be holographic, unless if it is a promo. They do not come packaged with any toys what so ever. Also, and I'm not sure if you know about this, but there's one pokemon card that is one of the rarest of all; and that is the Ancient Mew card. You can find this card because it looks vastly different from other cards; for example, it has a rocky background instead of a flat-ish color, and I believe it has some shiny rainbow colors on the Mew itself; also, all of the text on it is written in an unknown language; the only way to decipher it is to use a sheet given out at a Nintendo event. Fake pokemon cards can be spotted with a few easy things: For one, if the box has normal text like the "2013" one (Which has nothing to do with pokemon at all), it's most likely fake. Also, if a card has a plastic film on the front, it's probably fake. Also, you can tell if it's fake if it has moves that a pokemon of that type/species wouldn't know (Unless it's in the Delta Species series), or if a pokemon that has HP that's over 400-500. i'm not an expert but i have some pok'emon cards of my own. and when they came with coins. the pictures were carved in the coin with some shiny coloring. not with the picture of the pok'emon in it, and i mean the actual picture. idk if they changed the idea for the coins in the later years. but thats the coins don't look like with what you have. but i agree with JosipaKumoriNeko its hard to tell, just look for obvious stuff. but if you ask a expert who majors with stuff like this. he'll tell you
