The seat looks way too short and definitely way too low - unless you're really short.
To me this is kind of a silly project a k100 is a heavy bike that is really designed for sport touring with the emphasis on the touring. Changing the seat and bars and taking off the fairing ruin the bike for what it is best at doing.
My goal was to shed weight/improve handling. A longer seat is not necessary. The seat is low on purpose. It is right up against the frame rails. This allows the rider to be closer to the center of gravity which improves handling and rider confidence. Maybe the small seat would look more proportional if the tank was smaller. There is more power ans less weight. The bike was not ruined and is lots of fun to ride. Why don't you find a Honda Goldwing Cafe Racer video to complain about.
I am wearing a state of the art force field helmet that you cannot see in the video. It makes it so that I don't look like Darth Vader. Thank you for the concern Elmo!
Very nice

Sounds nice. Any problems on the mixture front? From my recollection, the jetronic should compensate. How did you rig the collector to output joint?
mickwall8 5 months ago
@mickwall8 there is a custom 4-1 collector. the mixture front is fine

@MotoSurgeon Hey great job I love the sound how can I get the 4-1 collector to Germany? I ride a 91 K100RS V4.
michawierz 6 days ago
@michawierz Any mufler shop can make you one. This is not a separate part. The collector is permanently attached.

Definitely unique! Looks good. I have transformed a few k-bikes but not built a cafe bike out of one.
