Nice variation on the hobbs way of pulling with the holy spec. I am prot and I do it a bit different. Ret aura Sanctuary and righteous fury, then I have the S1 gladiators slicer with lifestealing and I use seal of light release it and re stack it to double up the healing bonus from it.Release it and restack evertime my target dies. Also very helpful For dailys because I can take on up to 10 70's at one time. If I run low on mana I use to seal of wisdom and use the mushroom trinket From Sporegar.

Two things.

Firstly, as holy, generally the best idea is to maximise spell damage (I generally just wear my healing gear), pull everything, holy shock while you run, and start consecrating when you get to Herod's door. Self heal with concentration aura for 100% pushback prevention. They die quickly.

Secondly, JoCru and SoCru on Herod is fail. SoCru should rarely be used aside from its judgement form - you should go either SoR, SoV or SoComm.

Note when this video was posted, before 2.4, healing did not add to +spell damage. Does it really matter what I use on Herod? He's going to die in a few hits no matter what anyways. It's not like I'm downing Illidan here.

Sorry, I'm a man of maximising potential and was just trying to point out how you could do the same. Good point on the healing => SD change (whilst it was something like 2.2 where it was changed, I'm pretty sure that was after June '07), though I remember back then I actually had a rag tag set of SD gear. ^^
