YAY! My 2.5 year old son will be SO happy! I hope that the recorded version is more like the video played on PBS - the version here on YouTube seems much faster and the children are doing shapes with their arms instead of drawing them with their fingers.
i took my 4-year-old sister to see steve at our local library today. it was LOTS of fun and steve called her up to sing and dance to this song on stage with him :) she had so much fun. after the concert steve gave her an autograph, he is our fav and we love him STEVE ROCKS !!!
I am a nanny for a 3 1/2 year old and 2 year old twins and the kids L-O-V-E Steve Songs on PBS. All three of the kids have been singing this song and doing the shapes since the first time they heard it and the 2 year old boy goes around singing this song all the time. I am 31 years old and I love Steve, lol

This guy actually makes learning about new things fun...especially for my 2 year old. By using music to introduce the concepts of shapes, it makes it fun for little ones to learn. He does the same for other things and it's a wonderful learning tool.
I'll 1 up u both. I'm 25 (almost 26) and my niece and nephew (7 and 12, respectively) totally hate Steve Songs, but the guy ended up growing on me. Now I totally dig his stuff. Just like scottydn, I watch it listen 2 it every morning as well. Gotta love that hyper enthusiastic "Woo Hoo!"
