  • Not to be pecky, but spaces indicating seperation of words would be nice

  • This is just perfect, I love it !

  • I appreciate the effort, but to me this sounds too nasal.

  • Do you speak elvish, Floegirl? How did you learn it? Can you tell me which books and sites you used?

  • Aren't there supposed to be long versons of the vowels, like in "unotime", it would be a long o as in unootime, in "ramar aldaron" it would be "raamar aaldaron", etc, other than that, nothing to criticize, except maybe the vowels should originate in the front part of the mouth, not in the back but even like this, it's a very nice prounciation...

  • Very nice, very nice...

  • Brilliant, voice is so musical . The music is haunting and the images are fantastic. Wonderful work

  • quenya has to be in google traductor!!

  • my new years resolution is to learn elvish :) im hoping i can learn it from Ardalambion

  • Wonderful! Gives me the shivers...

  • Zaraz, jesteś Polką? Wiedziałem, że takie talenty to tylko z naszego kraju. ;)

  • I very like your voice. :)

  • How 8 persons can dislike this? Maybe Sauron isn't totally dead. No Sauron! Your Black Speech will never be as great as Quenya.

  • Wow. I'm speechless. That was amazing. Quenya simply flows off your tongue. I'm trying to learn this, but I'm no where near as great as you are. I actually just read it for my World Lit class. We had to memorize a poem in another language adn after much convincing, he let me do it in Quenya! That's so much. This is amazing. Keep at it. Namárië!

  • it almost sounds like water flowing when she speaks.

Hopefully I can get as good as you are. This is amazing. (:

  • Wow

    really...

    brilliant pronouncion!

    I'm a bit jalours :P

  • I had alway's thought of this more as sung than declamed........ you do it brilliantly, true mastering of pronounciation....

  • @bimtav Thank you veryyy much :)

  • @Floegirl What, exactly, is the difference in pronunciation between u, e, o and ú, é, ó?

  • @Floegirl How did you learn to pronounce the Elvish so fluently and elegantly it sounded amazing I applaud you!!!!

  • Sounds a lot like Finnish.

  • what is the translation of this part?

  • Quenya is such a pretty language... in form and phonetics.

  • World of Warcraft music , lol. Good job^^

  • It seems to be an isosyllabic iambic-like meter, like a iambic trimeter. The disposition of short and long vowels and sillables it is the same in the base model of greek jambic trimeter and in the pattern of some vedic metres.

  • Jedziesz po metrach. :) :P

  • you are great.. :) beautiful.. :)

  • Bien <---Quenya-Elvish word for Beautiful meaning the way the language is so pure the way you speak it i like it i wish i could speak it that fast but i have to read it to speak it

  • The Elvish just rolls off her tongue so well. Very skilled and spot on. Brilliant!

  • @T0nks33

Thank you so much... It's such a pleasure to read comment like that. Best regards.

  • it's alot like italian in some places great job btw. oh! how can I learn elvish like you? how did you learn? or how can I learn

  • @Floegirl Beautiful.... how did you learn elvish? I really really want to learn but I dont know how. Do you think you can help?

  • Does this sound like Tia Dalma's voice from 'Pirates of the Carribean' to anyone else here? Especially when she says "Vardo tellumar".

It's very beautiful, though. Gives it a new flavour. :) Thank-you

  • Best Quenya i have heard :)

  • i wanna learn elvish..

    how would i?

  • lol im laerning its really not that hard but it does take a lot of time

  • @plastixdisaster they gotta complete the language first :/ only around 1 thousand words at the least, and english has around 950 thousand....

    soo.. >.> 1000:950,000 :/

lol gots a way to goo... BUT! <:D

imma learn is as well as i can!, and then i shall make my children group up in Quenya!! XD

  • @plastixdisaster Read the LOTR and watch the films

  • This is the most beautiful and clear pronunciation of Quenya I ever heard. The music is a bit dramatic but it adds nicely to the drama of the poem.

  • Song = Jason Hayes - Song of Elune from Wow.

  • cool. btw, is the tune in the background from WoW? kinda sounds like it...

  • Yeah it is ;)

  • awesome. WoW elves music is beautiful hehe :) not as beautiful as the film lotr music but still awesome. i have learnt a little elvish and it scares my friends xD

  • Night Elf music FTW. :D

And...you totally did this poem justice!! Love your voice.

  • @Floegirl haha i knew it was. woot!

  • @Doodledodger lol as soon as I clicked play, I immediately thought "ELUNE'S SONG! :D" I have it on itunes, it's a beautiful song :)

  • @ravenmusic Haha, so do I! :D

  • i also try to learn elfs, u help me. (never learn it like that good like u but still.....)

  • it sounds a bit like italian

  • The elvish phonotaxis is effectively conceived to be similar to the italian and finnish one

  • first nice elvish spoken but it sound like you speak through your nose...

  • Yes... I know but this is becouse the nosse actually, and can't do anything with that :(

    Thanks for comment.

  • speechless.. I tried learning elvish (and am still working on it) but this is amazing! :) Thanks!

  • beautiful voice!

  • This is mega hard, tried it myself, amazing job, just great :))) thx for vid ofc :)

  • Congratulations ;) Very good ;)

  • Wow! It was beautiful and so dramatic! I enjoyed it, though I'd think Galadriel might have had a touch of sadness in her voice.

  • This is beautiful! You have a very pretty voice :)

  • Very beautiful! I like your voice (=

  • hahahaha that actualy sounds abit Finnish :DDD

  • really? :P and what is that mean in Finnish? :)

  • it doesent mean anything but it sounds abit

    Finnish "savon accent"

  • that's because Finnish was a major influence on Tolkien

  • Is the soundtrack "Son of Elune" of WoW? xD

  • Yes :)

  • You can say it with a very nice voice.. Sounds like magic haha!

  • Thank you sooo much :)

  • So cool! I love Quenya...Tolkien sure made a beautiful language.

  • like the voice you used for this poem..matches how tolkien described it in the books ie. lower than a woman's wont :)
