The official 'explanation' of the mural is no different from the conspiracy theory; that the mural depicts the coming disasters but eventually there will be peace. It all depends on interpretation and consciousness. The elites are responsible and driving the war and environmental disasters I don't think anybody will argue with that. How will the world peace be ushered in? Through nations relinquishing sovereignty to create a one world government aka NWO.
