  • the ultimate dremal right there!! great video :)

  • this is so smart !

  • how the heck do you get all of the little ridges out

  • this is absolutely amazing. i am sure a CNC machine will make it perfect, but a HANDMADE stock will be more like philosophy than just a peace of wood.

  • Is this machine made in the United States, and if so, are any imported parts used in it's making?

  • The bit you mentioned is a 1/2 in down spiral with a flat end. 2 in cutting length overall length 4 in. Check out Whiteside Machine company USA they have various shapes and sizes and also do custom sizes. 800-225-3982.

  • at 3.21 it shows a long round nose bit being used, does anyone know where i can buy them from in various diameters???must be long cut,the uk is crap for router bits!

  • great......perfect for big 6.2 foot apes like me....

1/ lengthen your existing gun-stock stock 2-3 in...

2/pack out the pistol grip with car panel putty ..

3/.shape it ..to a nice fit.

4.then duplicate it on a nice piece of walnut.. you have a custom fit hunting rifle.....

you seen the pistol grip on the Ruger M77 ..for midget hands....or jap's hands...............................my 2cents Paul Bunyan.

  • WOW: that looks amazing. I have done a 2 piece by hand (Win 1300) it was not plesent. I think this device would be perfect for any gunsmith. I dred inletting and this looks like it goes easily!

Do i wanna know the cost?

    ~mike

  • Very cool.

  • ok a new stock cost how much? how much labor does it take to copy one???? just a thought

  • This is one sweet machine! I love it!

  • Awesome!!

  • how much does one of hese machines cost?

  • that is fucking awsome i wont 1 haha

  • What Porter Cable's model that are you using in this machine?

  • Very nice work...

  • This machine looks extremely easy to use. Maybe looks are deceiving.

  • thats so cool

  • I have a machine similar to this, , but for the life of me I cannot make a good stock...too dumb I guess. I have no idea what I am doing wrong?

  • @nocrap62 maybe wood and grain selection

  • More videos are planned for carving other items. The inner cuts are one to one based on the master pattern done with a round nose core box then finished with an up spiral flat nose cutter. The lever activates our patented brake system to stabilize the router when carving across the grain.

  • @allredcorp

Why don't try use a Nema 34 stepp motor on turning step?

  • Sorry for too questions. Congrats for awsome machine.

  • @CLAUDIOPEIXOTO Thanks for watching. We use the basic Porter-Cable 690LR router for our 110v model and a Bosch router for 220v applications. We have tried to keep things simple and easy to use so have not motorized the rotary unit at this time.

  • Thanks a lot ,I think I'll be able to make copy of this machine in smaller scale

  • Great video, any chance you could put more up maybe showing more on the inner cuts where the hardware is mounted. Also, what is the lever for that your right hand is on?

  • @cheytac989 When you press the lever it locks one axis so the router cud be handeld easely
