Isa 24:5 For the earth has been defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the Torah, changed the law, broken the everlasting covenant.

Isa 24:6 Therefore a curse shall consume the earth, and those who dwell in it be punished. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth shall be burned, and few men shall be left.

It was NOT "nailed to the cross"... Sin was, for those who are His.

This scripture in Lev. 14 is symbolic of something very profound that happened later in fullness. You do not understand the deeper things though, all you see is the surface. I won't be sulking, I will be afraid for you.

@faxchase I'm afraid that the nature of language is communication, and words mean specific things. There is no symbolism in those lines of scripture, and it was believed that by killing a bird you are saying "I'm sorry god for whatever caused you to curse my house with mold, please forgive me, and don't do it again" - It wasn't anything magical. It was, as I said. SUPERSTITION.
