he mentions the super consciousness state is the only true state. When he speaks of the world he means the cycle of samsara. Also, working towards enlightenment is a choice, he mentions that you can only live in two states: the dream state and the super-conscious state. It is only ones personal choice if he/she wants to live an enlightened life. No one is forced to do so.
