  • That's great!

  • beautiful

  • i agree xiyang

  • I just picked up this song my new piano teacher today, Its going to be tricky to learn!

  • The third movement is "vivace" not "vivance", which it says in the description.

  • This piece is so beautiful; I don't think I will be able to play this piece as well as Diane.

  • this is my recital piece and im having a hard time learning it

  • @SuperPanda6969 Me too!

  • @SuperPanda6969 Me 3! :D

  • Helped me a LOT.

  • I agree, best version on youtube!! my 7 year old is on this sonatina right now. this definitly will help him!!

  • @YIHUAKEHRER your seven year old is playing this? Ugh....I'm thirteen and I fail miserably at it :(

  • @legoprojectgonewrong The only solution to the problem is playing and nothing more different than playing.

  • @YIHUAKEHRER Sorry to say but your 7 year old should NOT be playing this, even if he is really good if he is already playing this by 7 years old than you really need to let him relax with piano and back off he's probably starting to hate it.

  • @I2cansing Actually he loved the whole movement of this little sonatina. It's an easy classic piece to start with. Now he is on Kuhlau's Sonatina. He loves Bach too. I have to say everybody hated it at some point when learning a new piece, but that's how we learn! I don't push him no more( he has been learning piano for 2 years, I did feel stress in the begining with a russian background teacher. but now with a fun energetic american teacher, we just enjoy the music;)

  • I thought this is very good:),don't you think?

  • @xiyangyang45007 you copyed my name!!!!!!!!!:(

  • A few days ago, I came across my old music book and found this piece which I used to play as a young child during my first year of piano. It was such a joyful experience to play it again after many years of practicing. The simplicity was beautiful, however it is sad for pieces like this to be either underrated or forgotten by many pianists busy practicing their Liszt or Rachmaninoff.

  • I love playing it...

  • @nayoungkkim umm no it isn't... it's Sonatina.... it's a mini sonata. Don't flaunt your IQ

  • This is excellent! Does anyone know who is performing this on the recording?

  • @EurekaBeth17 You can see it on the description box. Pianist - Diane Hidy

  • my music teacher gave me this today and was like "GO!" I can't sight read very well - so today went horribly, but I promised I would practice, and listening to the piece a few times helps me A LOT so thank you for posting this - this way I can practice correctly and avoid my teacher's wrath lol

  • I needed a reference to know how to play this play! It's pretty confusing without listening to it a few times first. This version has the best sound quality I've heard so far, too.

  • i've only been playing the piano for 6 months and im already on this song:D

  • @Iceskatergirl22 same as you. :)

  • @HawtCookiex3 nicee! haha but im so bad at this songgg:/

  • du pur art,un chef d'oeuvre

  • Now I know how to play this.... ha ha. Seriously thanks for posting! The most interesting, reflective interpretation compared to others here on Youtube.

  • The greatest version I found. :)

  • Hey im learning this >:D now i know how it sounds thank you
