@epicmarkovich ** possible spoilers** I interpreted them differently : Ralph, pure. Jack, corrupted. Piggy, innocent/shade of grey. I wont spoil too much, but when that thing happens to piggy, that's when all reason is lost, save for Ralph n the twins. That moment when the adult appears on shore at the end, there's a sudden massive shift in perspective. The kids suddenly become kids again. I love this book.

@edwardfeast It was obvious from the start it wasn't going to be exactly like the novel. Its all due to preference, if you like a film that is closer to the book I might suggest the black and white version instead. Personally I don't mind these things, because really its the themes that count for me, they still have the important themes to me.
