440 is awsome, but 383 is real good and reliable too. Has a shorter stroke than the 440 so it can make more power off a dead stop. 440 takes longer to get the rev's up.
i have a 383 with an edlebrock rpm package heads cam intake 3500 to 5500 the car rips it was in a 68 charger with 373 now the power train is going in a 71 challenger
I Love it. I wish i had enough to buy it. Id love to pull into my driveway or up to my girlfriends house and have her hear that sweet sound of that 383 motor

Debatable. Almost all muscle cars had those wheels available. I saw them on a 68 Olds 442 even. Ralley wheels I think are unbeatable
