Its time to start taking a serious look at all third party candidates and to vote for whoever we think will represent us best, regardless of how un-popular they may be, or how unlikely they are to win because they are not owned by the same “corporate sponsorship” that has hi-jacked any chance we will ever have of a real democratic election.

To make our votes truly count for what they are, we need to stop compromising and stop contributing to this failed, 2 party, “corporate sponsored” system. back in school my poly sci teacher asked for examples of the biggest mistakes voters make. i said strategic voting rather than voting your conscious. she put strategic voting under a new column she created, "not mistakes" and put conscious under 'mistakes' . also maybe we should consider less than 50% of registered voters turning out as a vote against democracy and voting... maybe we should just install a monarch or a charismatic strongman

Do I agree with 100% of what you had to say? No. But I'll be damned if I say none of it was true! Civic action is the only way to make our system work. The only other option is a fundamental change of government which would be disasterous In our current social/political environment. My personal politics may not follow the model of Republican State-Capitalism (Republican not referring to the party), But a change to Libertarian-Socialism or Anarcho-Syndicalism would tear this country apart.

I guess by "support" you mean lobby (Civic action? Huh?) to abolish consequences for crossing other people. Good luck; won't happen. Want anarchy? Treat the laws you oppose as you treat traffic laws: to be obeyed or not as reason dictates. Suffer the penalties.
