I never really got these movies. I mean, am I supposed to empathise with the Fireflies? The same characters that brutally murdered hundreds of innocent people for no good reason other than to alleviate their boredom? Am I supposed to be enjoying this movie in the context of a slasher movie? Because it doesn't really work on that level, either. Is it a comedy? No, I don't find myself laughing too much. Just what the fuck is this movie supposed to be, anyway?!
