I didn't really like Juliet and when she died, I didn't cry. I cried because of Sawyer. I still can't erase the memory of him sitting at the water with Kate and crying from my mind, it keeps haunting me all day long.

The part where she fell and Sawyer thought she was dead was one of the saddest part of the entire show. You see him really break down. I'm talking about before she detonated the bomb btw...
I love Lost, but I wish they'd done more with the Jack/Juliet/Kate/Sawyer storyline towards the end. I like the end they got to, but I think they could've explored that dynamic a little more. Just a minor gripe.
Its hard to listen to this without imagining Juliet, constantly having that half smile/half smirk on her face no matter what the situation, for 4 seasons straight

Juliet's a great character. She's pretty and smart. I hate how all my favorite characters have to go and die. First Charlie, then Alex, then Juliet, then Sun and Jin. She was sad and lost like the rest of the clan. All she wanted was to go home and see her sister. But she never got to which was so sad. I mean she was helpful to the Losties and faithful to them. She tried really hard. And she sacrificed her life for Saywer's and Kate's as they would've fallen with her. GOOD-BYE JULIET
i feel as though this theme is encountered in more places in the show than just juliet. of all the character themes it is the most distinctive, epic and its really beautiful :)
@Moollii Well I had to write a paper on the relationship of two characters that were seperated, and this music made me think about the realtionship between Sawyer and Juliet and i used some of those elements in my paper.

I think Giacchino might have been trying to compensate there - in all fairness the music is just so good that by the end i kind of forget that glitch in the series really - it just shows that even the worst episodes have something that later becomes really important in the series! That's where the music gets its moment!

Most fans hated the flashbacks and little happened on the island. Still I've got to say that Giacchino's music more than compensated.

I would like to agree and say that without flashbacks, LOST wouldn't by far be the same epic show.
And since they actually stopped using flashbacks for each episode in season 4, and moved on to flashforwards, two timelines (1977/2007) and eventually flash-sideways, flashbacks never had time to get boring IMO. Add to that, the surprising and jaw-dropping introduction of flashforwards in the Season 3 finale really made use of peoples usual expectation of a flashback. :)

It is very similar. The death version is shorter and much darker, just as the one in the beginning of season 6, (SPOILER< SPOILER< SPOILER<SPOILER) When they are taking off the rubble at the swan ruins.
You should also do a Jughead theme. It can be heard at the end of Follow the leader, and during the Incident when Sayid is taking the core out of the shell.
I like her death version better, but this one is great. Juliet is my favorite female character. At least we will see her a little in season 6, as a guest star.
At Comic Con, the writers said that for sue Juliet and Faraday are coming back. Elizabeth Mitchell was originally in season 6 main cast, but she has such a huge role in V, so now shes guest.
i remember the small backlash against the Juliet character when she debuted and now everyone mourns her loss. reminds me of a quote Ben made, "Men reject their prophets and slay them, but they love their martyrs and honor those they have slain."
That may be the case, but the sintax of this song was played in MANY scenes heavily involving Juliet after 3x09 witch makes many fans consider it Juliet's theme.

You're right - this is Oceans Apart as it appears on the soundtrack. Needed no editing it was perfect already. I just copied and pasted that 'compilation' into info box and changed name of the person.
I dont remember this theme during season 3 for some reason... But when it is used as Juliet is being pulled into the swan during the Incident I thought It was one of the most powerful themes ever on the show. Great to hear it here!
It is first heard in 'Stranger in a Strange Land' when Jack and Juliet get on the boat to go back to the island. Yeah - it's so powerful and innocent. Gotta love it!
This song is so innocent-sounding. Much lighter than any other of the songs. Juliet was a very interesting character. I liked her alot. I wished she could have lived. Maybe she will. Who knows.
Yeah - I don't know of many other shows that do this. Adds to fact that Lost is, at heart, from beginning to end, a character based drama caught up in the complex mythology of Sci-Fi.
Totally - that's what her character was all about - breaking down the distinction between who is good and who is 'evil'. Ultimately there is nobody i can think of on the show who is pure 'evil'. Ever since Ben's backstory was shown we've learnt that every character has their own complex background that informs that present motivations and personality.
This track reminds me of her in Season 3, when we were shown that she weren't one of the "evil" Others, just someone that were recruited and weren't allowed to leave the island for three years...
He'll stick around for a long while. He's a key character to the story and Emerson retains that tension which is vital in a show like Lost. He's been welcomed in as one of the survivors in my eyes and the season finale amongst other things i think is where we shall finally see himself redeemed in the face of them all. Well I hope.
Yeah thanks. It appears in various forms playing subtley in the background in all her episodes. When she died it was so emotional - they combined her theme with striking chords used for emotion in the legendary 'Life and Death' theme.
Ugh, forget emotional. I was distraught, lol! Juliet always seemed like such a gentle and selfless person. To see her on the verge of death was just....ick. Especially considering she was my favorite female character. :(
Defo. When she says goodbye to sawyer it was like she was saying goodbye to the show for good and the fans. What an exit - the fact that so many people used to dislike her but now are upset about her exit just goes to show how decent and complex her character was for the show.

she was amazing, and her death scene was SO emotional and freaking heart wrenching. so sad! I hope we can see her at least once in the new timeline....

It is very similar. The death version is shorter and much darker, just as the one in the beginning of season 6, (SPOILER< SPOILER< SPOILER<SPOILER) When they are taking off the rubble at the swan ruins.

At Comic Con, the writers said that for sue Juliet and Faraday are coming back. Elizabeth Mitchell was originally in season 6 main cast, but she has such a huge role in V, so now shes guest.

That may be the case, but the sintax of this song was played in MANY scenes heavily involving Juliet after 3x09 witch makes many fans consider it Juliet's theme.

You're right - this is Oceans Apart as it appears on the soundtrack. Needed no editing it was perfect already. I just copied and pasted that 'compilation' into info box and changed name of the person.

I dont remember this theme during season 3 for some reason... But when it is used as Juliet is being pulled into the swan during the Incident I thought It was one of the most powerful themes ever on the show. Great to hear it here!

It is first heard in 'Stranger in a Strange Land' when Jack and Juliet get on the boat to go back to the island. Yeah - it's so powerful and innocent. Gotta love it!

This song is so innocent-sounding. Much lighter than any other of the songs. Juliet was a very interesting character. I liked her alot. I wished she could have lived. Maybe she will. Who knows.

Yeah - I don't know of many other shows that do this. Adds to fact that Lost is, at heart, from beginning to end, a character based drama caught up in the complex mythology of Sci-Fi.

Totally - that's what her character was all about - breaking down the distinction between who is good and who is 'evil'. Ultimately there is nobody i can think of on the show who is pure 'evil'. Ever since Ben's backstory was shown we've learnt that every character has their own complex background that informs that present motivations and personality.

He'll stick around for a long while. He's a key character to the story and Emerson retains that tension which is vital in a show like Lost. He's been welcomed in as one of the survivors in my eyes and the season finale amongst other things i think is where we shall finally see himself redeemed in the face of them all. Well I hope.

Yeah thanks. It appears in various forms playing subtley in the background in all her episodes. When she died it was so emotional - they combined her theme with striking chords used for emotion in the legendary 'Life and Death' theme.

Defo. When she says goodbye to sawyer it was like she was saying goodbye to the show for good and the fans. What an exit - the fact that so many people used to dislike her but now are upset about her exit just goes to show how decent and complex her character was for the show.

WOW. This is really similar to the last musical seconds of season five when Juliet supposedly detonates the bomb. Interesting. I guess Giacchino wanted it to be a Juliet moment. :) Thanks for all of these uploads! I'm really enjoying all of the individual themes! Great work!

Yeah - from what is supposedly the worst episode of Lost 'Stranger In a Strange Land' - I agree with you it makes up for it all in a huge way - really moving.
