To Commie, yes it is sexual indeed! But Lennon being the genius he was could intertwine multi- themes while other times he could make pure gibberish sound great! Coincidentally, tho, this was about the time Lennon was into Heroin, and a less into the psychedelics. The warm gun SO sounds like a needle that's just been drawn and ready for fire. The references are too uncanny to ignore. (especially if you've ever tried it before..and liked it) He even says, "I need a fix cuz I'm goin' down"

The song's interpretation is up to the listener. Heroin is potentially the most lethal drug out there second only to meth in how far it can drag you down. Don't be literal with lyrics though undoubtedly there are drug references.
