  • @paulscape72 you didn't need to use a pick the entire vid?

  • or i think i see a pick at times, but it looks like a lot of fingerpicking? Playing is awesome btw, just wondering if i should practice more without a pick...

  • @kvseelbach I play with and without a pick, I just sneak the pick into my palm and swap around. More versatile that way.

  • I can't believe that's a Peavey JSX. You should get a medal for this.

  • now THAT'S some vibrato

on another note, is the neck stock? nut width looks wider than i've seen

  • @twst1 yes stock neck, could be just camera

  • @twst1 That would be crazy to Drop $2000 on a Fender '52 RI hotrod Tele and then swap out the neck. FYI: the necks on those Hotrod '52 RI Teles aren't any wider than regular Tele necks, but they are flatter and fatter.

  • Hey, mate. How about caps and pots values on that tele?? Any special wirings? Thanks a lot! Cheers, P.

  • What pickup position are you in during the opening minute? That is some very pure tone! Also curious what amp, thanks.

  • @Hoodrio I have a feeling it was the neck pickup. The bridge is brighter and the middle mellow.

  • @Hoodrio ...and the amp is a Peavey JSX, crunch channel, low gain, amp reverb

  • Sweet sound!

  • Nice. Really really nice.

  • amazing tone, amazing feel :) subbed <3

  • great playing man..you kept it real...

    cheers!

  • Holy shit! That man's ball on fire!!

  • I love how that miniHB adds a little thickness, but the high end clarity is still all there. Awesome playing.

  • My god, that is the best sounding neck pickup I've heard on Youtube yet. I gotta try one of those Duncan minis out!

  • Great playing. What backing track are you using?

  • @Guitarplar Im not entirely sure but I think 1 is a SRV backing track

  • Nice playing. Can you tell me what backing track you are using?

    Thanks

  • @Guitarplar Dude...sometimes it takes a few minutes to a few hours to post."Must be patient grasshopper" PS I think the backing track is "band in the pocket" series....

  • Nice playing. What backing track is that?

  • is there some reason I can't post comments on youtube??????????

  • Nice....what backing track are you using?

    Thanx

  • Sweet sound and nice backing track. What is it?

  • very cool! nice sound and nice guitar

  • Nice and smoth!

  • Man your a dam good player no thats under rateing you by far your a fucking amazing player!!! good job man!!!

and where your get them backing tracks?

  • Nice. I have a 52 hotrod as well. I thought the body was just one piece. Kind of hard to tell what position your pick up is in. I would guess it was in the bridge position. couldnt distinguish the fat bridge position. could be that im listining on a laptop too.

  • @robrippen neck mostly, some bridge later on i think

  • Thanks, I have good speakers now. Pretty obvious after listening a 2nd time the positions. even more entertaining to listen to your playing. Nice contribution to youtube.

  • @paulscape72 Hi, very nice! Can I ask what amp you are using in this vid? Any effects?

  • @luit13 JSX crunch no effects except amps reverb. Cheers

  • Beautiful tone! Love it!

    Pick-up Neck?

  • @StratoArtwood Seymour Duncan vintage mini humbucker SM1-N cheers

  • That's tremendous tone and some real tasty playing.

That Telecaster is more versatile than a Strat.

  • Is the body a one-piece?

    Thanks

    Art

  • Hi Art - Its a two piece body. The neck is one piece.

  • @paulscape72

Which pickup were you on for this? is it the seymour duncan sm-1? thinkin' bout' getting one in my tele.

Awesome playing btw! and great tone

  • @ACCADACCAFAN6710 yep Seymour Duncan vintage mini humbucker SM1-N, cheers

  • Beautiful tone! Love it!

  • Whoa! Great demo and tone. Thanks

  • Tele's are the best!

  • Btw, if you replaced your track over an old recording of led Zeppelin i'd have a hard time believing it wasn't Jimmy Page! Great stuff

  • Ha thanks!

  • Blew my mind as usual friend!

  • Very nice playing and fabulous sounding 52 hot rod.

  • Man this is a reminder that no matter how simple the blues scale is, playing the notes well aint simple. Perfect tone and playing. is this the JSX?

  • Hey Brett! Yes its raw into the JSX on crunch channel with gain on 4 and reverb up full!

  • Great tone and playing, bud!

  • Thanks mate!
