I don't know where you're from but in The Netherlands (where it was filmed) Peugeot and Volkswagen aren't considered expensive cars. (Well VW is overpriced maybe)

That's my point, black wheels aren't as "Fast and the Furious" as crap paint jobs and ridiculous stickers. Porsche, Ferrari, Aston and Lamborghini (not Honda, Toyota, Mazda, or Mitsubishi) all offer dark rims as factory options, and I think they look really good if matched to the right body colour.
