  • Indeed it is a wonderful composition by Mr Alizadeh, but no one ever talks about the Ney player who truly is a master and has channelled all the right emotions and feelings of the piece masterfully, his name is Jamishid Andalibi who is a Kurd from Eastern Kurdistan and who comes from a family of great musicians from Sine, the capital of Eastern Kurdistan.

  • masterpiece.

  • What a great composition! I was in Iran during Iran-Iraq war and used to live alone in Maidan-e Mohseni and listened to this cassette every day many times. It fills you with creative melancholy.... yearning for something unfathomable..... God bless Iran and Iranians.

  • We cannot talk about master Alizadeh in a few sentences, he is a great treasure that need to be appreciated.

  • this music is realy great.

  • @hrnahmadi Hossein Alizadeh is a genius He composed this masterpiece when he was in his 20's Some people think this music is related to Nineveh but it's not true. In Persian(Iranian) language "Ney" is the name of a musical instrument the sound of which u hear in this piece and "Nava" means "sound" So "Neynava" means "the sound of Ney". This is absolutely beautiful!

  • @tonadankhamush I know him very well cause I grow with this song thanks for your precise information.
