Hey Betty, love the video, love the southern charm (as I am from Florida!) When you have a moment have a look at our video cooking contest on StoveTopHero, you would be perfect! Thanks Mike
To hell with the cookin lesson Betty. Let's get down to the meat and potatoes of this comment. You are one sexy and beautiful lady. Conservative but beautiful. You have a great body for your age. I mean, we all know you are not in your 20's correct? Gorgeous you are. All the best.
Well.. Im just finished watching the video and it truly looks to easy.. I been wanting to cook my beautiful mother something she ain't never tried before.. So Im thinking about taking a chance here :) thanks for the tutorial.. Gotta give it a try.. First time cooking something like this.. Wish me luck!!! Lol.. First time cooking period!!! Lol..
Thank you for sharing your mexican cornbread recipe and for clarity. Some of the videos I watched just were not that clear. Again, thank you for sharing.
Betty, I`m making this tomorrow with a pot of ham and beans, I love all of your videos, you are so sweet and darling, such a southern lady!! Keep up the good work!!!
This will go good with any sort of hamburger dish I make for my family..That recipe looks yummy and is full of nutrition. Thank you Betty for your gracious ways and wonderful recipes..what a treat..hugs from rhode island..
This looks so good. I sometimes add corn, green chiles and cheese to mine. Have you ever heard of cornbread salad? I received a cookbook from Oklahoma that had several recipes for this. I'd never tried it but was curious so I kinda took what sounded good from several and it was really delicious!
I hope you and your family are well! They dont sell cornmeal here, i have asked many supermarkets in the past and no one knows what it is! is there anything i could use as an alternative?
cast iron is the best for cooking. I feel cooking in the cast iron makes things taste better. I don't think I heard what size your pan was? you just can't beat a good cornbread. Great job! thank you for taking time to do these videos
your video looks different but i love the recipe still :) have a great day betty!!!!! thanks for the videos. you go thru alot of trouble to make us all hungry and happy hehe :)
Miss Betty I'm definitely gonna try this recipe, but I will be using a gas oven as opposed to an electric oven. Thank-you kindly.

don't cut in the cast iron pan, flip it over and let the cornbread pop out onto a plate.

ooh looks yummy :] is it possible to leave the chilli peppers out of the ingredients?
yummeeceline 2 years ago
Thanks! Yes, you may leave out the green chiles, and it will still be great. The sour cream, Cheddar cheese, and corn will provide plenty of flavor!
