    Thanks.

  • Very poor pronunciation for this word. It seems a drunk Gringo just arrived to Mexico....

  • BETTER SAY PUERTO ESCONDIDO OAXACA LOL

  • wohaka xD

  • All you guys are doing is giving him more money.

  • Dude, you have a very american accent, you need to listen to it being said by a mexican... it sounds very different, it is closer to O eeyaca. and if when your saying it that your jaw is moving alot, you are putting to much american accent into it... you need to almost imitate the accent, to properly speak another countries language, without sounding like an American, speaking really broken spanish.

  • @kushasaures What are you talking about. I'm Mexican and this was actually near damn perfect. Unless you have a super heavy Mexican regional accent, this is the neutral way to say to say, but even if you did have a super heavy Mexican accent, it wouldn't be different because the O is pronounced the same throughout Latin America. If we were talking about Ch, S, LL, Y then that's another story.

  • @TheStarstrukk1999 it's a mexican state -.-

  • @TheStarstrukk1999 Oaxaca is a region in Mexico famous for carved wooden elaborately painted figures. There has also recently been strife over teachers wages and their right to teach material they deem appropriate.

    3. play to see if your right (:

  • Oaxaca is in Southern Mexico, and is from the original language there. It means "gourd" in that native language.

  • @BOOM3headshots Yeah, I don't think so. The name Oaxaca COME FROM the word Huaxyacac, which REFERS to a tree called a guaje. So no, it doesn't MEAN gourd.

  • Listen to it on Google translate lol!

  • ohwahcksaca

  • MUFASAAA!

  • Wakka Wakka!

  • @Flaargleberry

lol wakka wakka, that shits comedy

  • ur getting there dude, but not quite yet

  • Now you wanna get technical? The X SHOULD sound as in the Spanish name "Jesus". It's like a k sound but longer and softly steady.

  • technically the "O" should be said as if opening the mouth - leading into the "a", not really as if following a "w" (cuz then it would be "Waxaca"). But when said quickly there's virtually no difference, i guess.

  • Good. It corresponds to the original Spanish pronunciation.

  • It's odd round this part of the internet, it's like a helvetica sesame street.

  • @urlscruggs Except these videos use Akzidenz-Grotesk, not Helvetica. :P

    Both nicely designed typefaces though...

  • @urlscruggs well played
