If some one loves a flower, of which just one single blossom grows in all the millions and millions of stars, it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars. He can say to himself: 'Somewhere, my flower is there...' But if the sheep eats the flower, in one moment all his stars will be darkened...And you think that is not important! :'( :'(
" The flower you love is not in danger, I'll draw you a muzzle for your sheep, I'll draw you an armour for your flower ... " It's such a beautiful story, I'm happy to see it's famous all over the world. I try to let this book lead my life.
Actually, it was written by Antoine de Saint Exupery for his wife. He didn't have any children. The rose was his wife, Consuelo, and the Little Prince was himself.
Le Petit Prince is a beautiful tale and I was heavily inspired by it for my most recent production but I thought the movie murdered the entire purpose of the story. It is a picture book and that is what it was meant to be = inspiring people who read to believe in their own power to imagine and dream. But, making a movie that basically steals every image from the book - practically killing - is criminal!!! What do you say?
It might be the number one, it's in very start of the book ;) but I think the others have more message... "Well, I must endure the presence of two or three caterpillars if I wish to become acquainted with the butterflies. It seems that they are very beautiful" very good guideline to life?
I really want to see this movie. I've read the book a dozen times, and I think I'll read it again now. I've never read the english adaptation, only the original french.
it is the best book that i ever red... every time i read this, i discover another meaning of it..... a simple book about extremnly compllicated things...

It's only the heart that one can see clearly. What's essential is invisible to the eye.
And grown ups are strange. Very strange.
