My god, how can you hold this downpicking speed for so long?

I have such problems with creeping death cause it's too exhausting ... :((

@Deathbringer94 Its not that hard.

Just play this song few time a day, everyday (you will play better if you warm up before the song)

You will see that you improve everyday until you get to perfection.

and a little tip from me, never stop picking in a middle of a song, even if its exhausting as hell!

@MrDrinver I disagree, no serious Injuries can happen, the only damage that playing in pain can cause is that the pain will stay for a while after. and also, its only happens if your technique is wrong. everything that we practice on can cause pain. when you start playing guitar, your left hand fingers hurt. when you start playing bass your right hand fingers are hurt. when you do sports your muscles hurt.

the only thing that important is to keep your technique is right

Hey mate, i've got a vypyr 30. Relatively new to guitar, but I feel the REC setting is awesome for Metallica in general. I occasionally use Kstein/6505 for Kill Em All. Are you using the JSX/XXX setting here? :)

You seem to know a whole heap about this amp.. I have a guitar with EMG 81-85 pickups, do you use the neck/bridge pickup? (my 85 is in the the neck).

@LaMinchia1985 Im using here the Green JSX with a tube screamer to make it tight and high gain.

my guitar has EMG 81 in the bridge and 60 in the neck.

i use the 81 in the bridge most of the time (for rhythm, powercords, riffs, etc) and the 60 in the neck for solo's and stuff..

No worries, maybe i'll play around with using the 81. I still love the rec setting. Never used the JSX on clean with a tubescrm, I found the tube to be too much (I may have been playing it on top of the red, which makes sense) but ill give the clean a go.

What sort of levels on the tube are you using? Mids completely scooped? Bass/Treble/Pre and Post up nice a high?

If you've done a setting on the vypyr website, let me know and i'll check it out. :)
