If you're a first time buyer I'm just gonna say that 6/10 of you are going to have back to back problems with this software. It's plagued with bugs and customer support is basically nonexistent. Yes it gives you options but about a week or two into it you can expect it to freeze, crash and lose all of your tracks, randomly run out of memory in which you will have to erase projects with no new memory. I advise you save your cash and get a quality editor.

I bought the basic version because some idiot on an online review site said it was number 1 but the idiot never mentioned anything about a premium version. BASIC VERSION SUCKS. you can't even compose the soundpool samples (NO, raising/ lowering pitch, shortening or adding effects to samples is NOT composing... you know, being able to have control over what notes are played! ). and yes, i know about Vita with its HUGE EXSTENSIVE range of midi instruments.

please where can i get VST plug ins for midi? i have mm-16 premium full version, but in midi i have only piano as an option. that thing which is at 6:28 in your video, you have them all and they are called vital instruments. I tried to look for vst plug-ins, but didn't find anything :(

i don't even have beat box or any other option in synthesizers than "robota," but this is not such a big deal since i want to make own music and not using loops.

I just got this today,but to me it looks kinda toyish.MM16 does not have 15000 sounds as like fruity loops but this music maker is really to me like an mp3 or wav editing software and not like fruity loops when you can browse instruments to put into a bar to make beats for the pattern like FLS.MM16 kinda reminds me of a popular software like "audacity & wave sound pad"....So in other words MM16 is basically an mixing and editing software and they have their pre-own samples....D@M!

Sooo, I've got this for christmas, and yeah it's really good! But in school they have Music Maker 10 (or something), and it seems to have some more styles. How come? Is it because Music Maker 16 isn't fully updated? It would be great with more rock guitars. Also when I open "Load Demo Song" there are styles that isn't in the style bar:

However it is great, but these are things I have been thinking about.

Ok I get the fact there are loops for everything and can creat original keyboard notes and what not but what about guitar sounds? Can you get the guitar to palm mute and pinch harmonics and stuff like that or is there another program better for that? Can I use this to albums if I want or would that be a copyright violation? I notice that there are no warnings about doing so. I would never use this material without citing my sources though. I would give all credit where credit is due. But the production takes work, and I should still get credit for it. I'd like to make beats for recording and business purposes. Sadly the main website is uninformative and DOES not tell anyone they CANNOT use VSTe's in the "Download version". So I blew 60 bucks on something I couldn't even make a good sound with. Can't use VSTe's[VST Effects] and the main website doesn't say you can't. So if you want to get a good sound you have to pay 99 bucks and up. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Thank God for Zynewave's Podium. All I can say is this: You people at Magix better be more informative on your products in the future, or else
