Rickie, again just seeing this. so nice to see you in a vlog. I know from watching your past videos that you were in the states last Thanksgiving. I even thought about YOU on T-giving day and wondering if you remembered. of course you did.I know that feeling of missing the asthetics of home but feeling stagnant when you are there.same thing happened to me.I still miss it but opportunities just weren't there. keep us posted on your move.much happiness to you.

Just be careful! Staying someplace for "a while" goes by really FAST and you have to move again. Its very difficult to rent from "friends" and still be friends at the end of a renting. You are in a spot I know. The birds sound lively LOL Our Parrot was noisy as soon as the sun came up! We learned to NOT remove the DARK Blanket we kept him covered with but as sonn as he smelled the coffee he would scream for his toast so how could we not uncover him? LOL
He had my grandma wrapped around his pointed little toes LOL She would always ask him if he wanted more toast with his coffee? He wouldnt answer, she would throw it away and he would scream "I SAID YES MOMMA!" UGH, she would toast him a second piece every morning! She did learn to pretend to throw it out and save the other half of his toast, sure enough he would yell LOL He was something else!
Your birds remind me of those days having toast with Grandma and her having me promise NOT to tell my Mom (her daughter) that she gave me COFFEE! It was thought that giving kids coffee 55 years ago was not a good idea but IF you have a 5 year old torturing you and begging for some you give in LOL Yes, we had Grandma wrapped around our pointed little fingers too LOL

Dear Gail, You're ABsolutely right about the staying with friends thing...i'm noy going to do that...i'd rather stay in Berlin a little longer, than to put people and me through that.
What polite parrots i have! wow...although my cockatoo screams for his mosquito net in the middle of the night in summer; when he's being bothered by them...he goes RAKAAAA! ( since he finds the i hard to pronounce) but those are emergencies...Go TO BED< RICKIE...yes, iwill....love you Gail...

I have always said there should be two shifts , just like the film's , Daywatch and (like us) the Nightwatch lol.....
