@ruben18able Yes this is a licensed performance. It is at Universal Studio's in Japan. It's a mixed language, and shortened (30 Minutes) version of the show that is performed around 4 or 5 times a day for tourists as Universal own the rights to Wicked.
@Hawkalina it's japan, it's their customs; they don't go wild for live performances, as a european i think it's strange how americans clap when planes land and give standing ovations at the cinema, but i don't insult them for it it's just different cultures

Also, I'm not American, so I wouldn't know what kind of strange things they do. Personally, I think clapping when a plane lands sounds rather sweet though, considering how hard it can be to land one and how many lives the pilot generally has in his hands. xD
But meh. I wasn't trying to insult them, but you have to admit it is a little rude. Not just cultural.
@willowbreeze121 my whole point is that if your going to criticize her, then at least be mature about it. it takes A LOT of work to do what she does and she should be respected for that even if she isnt as good as other elphabas.
It's so weird to see the guards standing around and pulling the curtains off the Cherry Picker thingy. I mean they stand around in the theatre show and proof to be useless, but this is even worse xD
@adrummingman Well remember the show is technically free. Although I will say the harness in the lift fits her HORRIBLY as well as her dress. Shes way to short for it. All the other videos I've seen of this USJ performance (like jemma rix) the elphabas look just fine on the lift but it looks like its gonna swallow this elphaba :P
@Llirya this is a short version that is like a 1/2 hour long and starts with the overture, then one short day, then when they meet the wizard. then theres a flashback to dear old shiz, loathing, the wizard and i, a dancing part of dancing through life then popular. then it goes back to the wizard and finishes the show like the end of act 1

@jakewgard1 because it runs 34 times a week a cherry picker type lift would cost too much to run so part of the stage lifts up
