  • @logoRH and let me guess, the illuminati is behind this all, just spreading chaos before their new world order can come about. dont forget your tin foil hat

  • for the peapole who dislike go die in fucking vain dumbasses thats a big grave stone of lot f peapole who died in fucking vain

  • @logoRH Wow you actually are asserting that Pearl Harbor and Lusitania were done by the united states? This baffles me how you can claim this. Also wasn't the Lusitania sunk by Germans and owned by the British? Pearl Harbor, three japanese carriers 6 subs hundreds of planes all faked. Oh and the Japanese saying they did it! Ive see bullet holes in buildings in Hawaii from Japanese zero fighters. The USS Maine was a accident and Saddam... you got me their.

  • @IdontlikeusingLOL Hey, i've heard it suggested that the usa "allowed" pearl harbour to happen to sway public opinion in favour of usa joining the war, a war which made a lot of money for powerful americans, i dont know enough about this to argue with you though.

  • @mrtallis That would be stupid. First off why would we severly damage our main harbor in the US Pacific and sink several battleships. The Japanese severely hurt the US Pacific fleet. We also lost over two thousand men in the battle. Also WWII did benefit a bunch of corporate fat cat Americans. It also reduced the unemployment rate by 20% and put America and the greatest economic boom in world history. Also we americans didnt like the japanese anyway. Public opinion was fine.

  • @IdontlikeusingLOL you pretty much explained exactly why the attack would have been "allowed. Public opinion was definately against the usa going to war with germany.

  • if there are bodies in the ship why wont they go down and retrieve them for families

  • @Jredvelvet7 its a national cemetary, the survivors who lived the attack when they pass on they request to be cremated and have their ashes placed in the ship with their shipmates.

  • @Jredvelvet7 Because if you touched the few bones left they would turn to dust. They are also stuck in the cargohold. You would have to destroy the ship to get them out, which would only release dangerous chemicals left over. Short, its out of respect.

  • my german for fathers where burned alive in breslau by the russians but this is also very sad R.I.P those who fallen for freedom

  • thim dam japes

  • it is shameful that those precious lives taken away but their corps are still under water,. it isn't such thing to be seen by tourists or like for memorial to keep that ship in water!?! only if US couldn't remove it from there!!! IN 21ST CENTURY!!! i just think they should be in peace, not bothered by minds and tears, and not to hurt too many souls,.

  • bonechilling

  • Cant c anything

  • I live here in Hawaii about 20 minutes from Pearl. This place is like a shrine. There is around 120 men still inside the ship according to Navel records. So it should be regaurded as a burial site.

  • that's creepy

  • I used to live there oil still leaks from it

  • the ARIZONA was our best ship.we got japenese back for that.and was that what you could see of it?

  • i shut down pearl harbor on easter sunday

  • scary...

  • when you get there, please salute those Sailors (my Brothers) They are the best America ever had to offer! PEACE Gerry USN 70-75

  • @kramerd3 I do salute to almost all the people

  • I loved the pearl harbor memorial it was one of my top faves when i lived in oahu. Did you know that even today the uss arizona is still leaking oil into the ocean? my fav. was the museum and wall of names...everyone should go

  • i plan on going in 2011 for the 70th anniversary

  • all those people died

  • are there skeltons in the boat?

  • Yep

  • Star Blazers! Remember that old cartoon, they wanted to do a live action movie based on the same story, but with a twist. The rights are own by an American company and instead of the Yamato, the Arizona. The projected is shelved,,, for now. I had to honor of seeing this ship in 1997.

  • The largest single donation to the USS Arizona Fund was made by Elvis Presley in 1961.

  • woo...cool iv been there

  • woah, amazing to see that in real life....

  • can you believe ONE person could have prevented this form happening as bad as it did???they though the planes were a flock of DUCKS on radar....

  • I thouht that the planes were a flight of B17 bombers inbound from the U.S.

  • sunken ships scare me lol!

  • sunken trees scare me

  • LOL

  • dude what are you talking about?

  • they tied to leave every thing intaced becose its a momorial so the didint try to re use every thing on that ship

  • The Arizona was stripped of anything that could be re-used. Some of her gun barrels were on other ships, and some were used as shore emplacements. A lot of her fuel and ammo was also removed, cleaned and re-used. She originally was to be re-floated and towed out to sea for a proper burial, but this was later canceled. The Oklahoma was raised, but sunk accidentally, this may have have been one reason to leave the Arizona where she lay.

  • stupid japs, why did they turn on us and sink the USS Arizona, they also took off parts of the ship after the ship sunk because im guessing the different metals the ship was made of was poisoning the fish, and the water. (i guess)

i also cried the first time i saw a video of the USS Arizona singing that was a tragic day for America.

  • yeah we got them back with the a bomb.

  • morspaceman- The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor for a few different reasons, but the one that stands out most is the U.S. quit supplying Japan with oil.

  • OIL causes war now !?!?!?

  • It is really interresting you look what happen before the attack. Some of us knew somthing was going on when we saw the subs and all. If we got ready we could have at least made it to open sea and lift up some planes to take on the Japs. But instead it took a great cause. Better safe than sorry.

  • There was no real intelligence on what the Japanese were up to. The government thought the Japanese would do something either in the Philippines or try to take over the oil in Dutch Indonesia. No one thought the Japanese would deliberately start a war by attacking Pearl Harbor.

  • We were there Jan 2008. I cry each and every time I see these videos. I cry for all of the people that it touched and all the lives that were altered. How sad and we will live this loss again with the wars in progress and yet to come. Thank you to those of you who post your videos. I lost my dad in 1998. He was a WW2 vet. Thanks to all of those brave men that went down with the ship. This trip was the most enlightling trip of my life.

  • @4444ec i feel sad for those who died defending our country. if u want more info on the uss arizona, there is a book called uss arizona, look up vernon j. olsen in the index and thats my 2nd uncle.

  • @4444ec May he Rest in Peace. God bless US soldiers doing the thing they love. Fight for there Country.

  • @4444ec shut the fuck up you pussy ass dramatic girl

  • @ACCFJeremiah maybe you should shut up!!!!

  • she was sunk by a modified 16 inch shell i wonder if she would have made it if a regular air dropped bomb hit her....

  • She wasn't suited for battle that day. She was off guard, all windows were open, same with all doors and hatches... she wouldn't of made it. The reason she was so open was because that Monday she was supposed to be inspected and the crew + the captain wanted the ship aired out so the inspectors would feel more comfortable walking through her.

  • That and the explosive used hit the exposed magazine. Its because of this incident that ALL armored vehicles' magazines are protected. Everything from battleships to carriers to tanks.

  • Wrong. There were no exposed magazines. US Battleships were considered the best protected warships in the world. No US battleship had it's armored decks penetrated by a bomb at Pearl Harbor, and no other US Battleships were lost in WW2. US Armor was tested against Axis armor at the end of WW2 and found to be superior, and much better then previously thought.

  • Don't forget the USS Arizona was built in 1916 (Brooklyn Naval Yards) and a WWI era battleship. In WWI there was no proof that a bomb dropped from an airplane can sink a battleship. So the USS Arizona deck plate above the magazine rooms were vulnerable.

  • The reason they took off the bits of the Arizona that were extruding out of the water was that it made shipping around it very hard, so they took the bits of and moved it to a different location.

  • that ship should have never been tuched it should have stayed the way it was sunk for the men and wemen that are still in there you dont goaround taking things off of graves thats there tumb sorry but thats me it should have stayed the way it was sunk

  • if i saw this i would fall to my knees and cry for all of the men that were trapped aboard the U.S.S. Arizona. I would pray for there souls to be in heaven, I would pay respect to all of the fallen men women and civilians that were killed on December 7th, 1941

  • My great great great great great great great......okay, u get the point, went down with the sip because he was the first mate.

  • Thats alot of greats for only 68 years.

  • "Combined Fleet Decoded: The Secret History of American Intelligence and the Japanese Navy in World War II", by JOHN PRADOS

Truly, a monumental tome setting the new standard for who, how, when, what, where, and why we knew what the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) was doing before and during WWII.

  • haha im a wwii buff asianamerican68 so FDR knew the attack was coming so he moved the newer ships out of the harbor but japan still didnt declare war and still the axis commited bloody crimes FDR is still to blame yes but so are the japenese for the attack and missing declaration of war

  • I agree there this guy (AsianAmerican68) is just trying to justify this cowardly attack. No one thought the attack would happen on Pearl Harbor and there never was any real proof of that. We mostly persumed they would occur if it happened on our islands in the pacific.

  • An Indian from India sued the US Government to say Indians from India were recognized by Modern Physical Anthropologists as CAUCASIAN, and on that Basis, was trying to claim exemption... but the US Supreme Court said while Indians from India were CAUCASIAN, they were not WHITE (they have very dark skin), and therefore did not qualify under the FREE WHITE Clause of 1790.

Mr. Singh was very disappointed, as the US Citizenship he had been grated for his WWI Service was taken away from him.

  • I also want to let the uninformed in on one more little known FACT... that Asian Immigrants to America were prohibited (it was declared ILLEGAL by the US SUPREME COURT) from ever becoming Naturalized US Citizens... until the mid-1950's.

FREE WHITES were given that right in 1790, and BLACKS, after the US Civil War ended SLAVERY in AMERICA, were added in 1868.

  • So, before launching off on your usual pissing and moaning about all the horrible things the IJE did, just remember...

we have WHITE AMERICA to thank for the IJE's FORCED CREATION.

    Think about it.

  • Not wanting to become "THE NEXT CHINA", and be carved up by WHITE IMPERIAL MILITARY POWERS, Japan was forced to modernize it's Military, and in 1868, the MEIJI RESTORATION Era began... from which emerged the first ASIAN MILITARY SUPERPOWER... the IJE (IMPERIAL JAPANESE EMPIRE)... fully able to destroy other Nations... and did!!

The only reason Japan was not Colonized by America was the US CIVIL WAR (1860-1865)preoccupied the US with it's own Internal Upheaval. By 1868, it was too late.

  • TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THREE Years... !!

That's over 12 Generations... and would have continued up to now. There were

    - No Wars with other Countries,

    - Nobody died in Battle,

    - Nobody was Invaded,

    - No Country was Taken Over by Force,

    - and...

for 253 years, there was PEACE and QUIET in Japan. Until July, 1853, when GUESS WHO showed up in Tokyo Bay, in direct violation of Japan's Rights... to practice GUNBOAT DIPLOMACY... AT THE POINT OF A GUN!!

  • Most of you also only look at the Middle to End Periods of the IJE (IMPERIAL JAPANESE EMPIRE), and either ignore or are ignorant of the IJE Beginnings.

Again, it is either ignored or only lightly mentioned in US History Texts... BUT it is here that you need to look for the ROOT CAUSE of all the complaints about the IJE.

Japan was in TOTAL SELF-IMPOSED ISOLATION from the rest of the WORLD for 253 years, and bothered nobody from 1600 to 1853... when guess who FORCED them out... ?

  • Who was US NAVY Lt. Cmdr. ARTHUR McCOLLUM, of the US NAVY ONI... ? What was he ordered to do by FDR? Why did FDR order it done?

"The McCollum Memo", aka: "THE EIGHT INSULTS"... is what I refer you to read for yourself. Do your own research. Do your own thinking... and then come back here and tell the rest of us about it.

It will change your view of FDR completely. I also refer you right here on YouTube to this video...

    "THE BONES OF STATION H"

    It is a real "eye-opener".

  • Lets face it Asian American, the Japanese wanted a fight, and they got one. There were many innocent people who were non militants that died in Hawaii. All America did was turn around and return the favor ten fold. Japan had been warned that if they did not surrender, they would have a horrific weapon unleashed on them. I'm not saying that it isn't sad, but that is war. You should at least be happy that as of today, America and Japan are allies.

  • and by the way mister history lesson...get your facts right...there has been more than ONE nation who destroyed civilian people..including women and children...Adolf Hitler and Germany ring a bell??..and they did it without and instantaneous bomb. so don't go barking your anti-american shit on that soap box of yours without throwing ALL the facts out there.

  • well look at it this way..asianamerican..if this ship isn't sunk...by a sneak attack...by war standards mind you very well planned out...then there may have been no reason for america to join WWII...therefore no Hiroshima...in war...people die...you don't win a war by being "politically correct"...you don't fight their soildiers...you fight their country..and u pummel them into submission by any means necessary...war crimes?.there is no such thing...killing, bombing, destruction..is what war is.

  • wats with the beef?

  • why does asian american ignore the long history of jap war crimes in WW2?

  • War crimes... ?

There is only one Nation and People in the entire history of this planet who "nuked" another country's largly civilian population of old people, women, and children, causing horrible radiation burns and BBQ'ed Human Flesh of live people... and they did it TWICE.

John Hersey's "HIROSHIMA" goes into the gory details.

It is a sick, brutal, worse than any so-called "Barbarian" Act... and it was knowingly and deliberately done by WHITE AMERICA (that's you!!).

  • I wish you were at Iwo so my uncle would have had the chance of putting bullet into your empty head. By the way he has many relics hetook off of dead japs he killed including photos of war crimes the dead jap commited in china. Assholes like yourself should list the warcrimes the japs commited in china, philippines wake island killing pow,s. So repeating what Harry Truman said when he decided to nuke japan. FUCK THE JAPS

  • And the Japanese wouldn't have used it if they had it themselves?

You seem to conveniently overlook their record in Nanking, Manila, Manchuria, and numerous other places where the Japanese deliberately targeted civilians in what was basically the 1940's version of TERRORISM. Our attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, AFTER ADVANCE WARNINGS from B-29s dropping leaflets, was an attempt to deliver a KO punch to end the war that the JAPANESE started, once and for all. Get a clue!

  • asian american the japanese attacked without a delclaration of war so that was a war crime and unit 731 tortured their "human specimans" nazi war crimes the holocaust the list for the axis is huge compared to america's so called wwii war crimes get your history right and maybe then you'll understand

  • Just like many of you who were born and raised in America after WWII, I too grew up being fed the line (and believed) that the "SNEAKY JAPS" attacked us "WITHOUT ANY WARNING" at Pearl Harbor, so we rightfully hit them back. I believed that until just last year... when I found out in 1994, a SECRET DOCUMENT called "The McCollum Memo" was finally declassifed by the US Government and available via FOIA... and is on the Internet right now... proving FDR's bloody hands re: Pearl Harbor.

    Read it.

  • I've read it nothing in there ever says anything about Pearl Harbor and doesn't justify Japans actions that day just because there had been signs of a war coming. In fact the memo said to be more watchful of Europe and keep the situation in the Pacific stable. No one thought Pearl Harbor would be attacked if they did attack perhaps in the Pacific sorry that memo did not help your cause.

  • BTW, how's your MANDARIN LESSONS coming... ?

What? You haven't even started yet?

Tsk-tsk... you know, your NEW OWNERS are going to find it much easier to COMMAND YOU AROUND in Mandarin.

Your PAL, KING GEORGE has already sold you to RED CHINA... for $1.9TRILLION... (yeah, I said TRILLION... any idea how huge that is?)

RED CHINA is at each and every US TREASURY AUCTION purchasing US BONDS $1.BILLION every week... you owe them BIG TIME... thanks to KING GEORGE and IRAQ WAR... lol!!

  • After suffering the "PERRY INCIDENT", Japan was determined not to become "ANOTHER CHINA"... carved up into small little pieces by WHITE COLONIAL MILITARY POWERS.

The only way to prevent that was to become one itself, which it did... "THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE EMPIRE".

A quiet sleepy peaceful nation who bothered noone for 253 years was turned into a MONSTER WAR MACHINE... directly caused by WHITE AMERICA's "PERRY INCIDENT", a CRIMINAL ACT!!

    Get the point now... ?

  • with regard to Pearl Harbor, and all the people who died there on the morning of December 7, 1941...

YouTube: "THE BONES OF STATION H"

  • Is it just me, or does AsianAmerican68 sound like he may have trouble making friends?

Comments from idiots like him do not have a place on clips such as this.

  • AsianAmerican68, please remove the "American" from your name, your vial hatered is like poison to the memories of my falled relatives at pearl harbor who served and fought side by side with whites and every of color.

Since the end of world war II the United States has promised and kept it's promise to protect Japan from any war, why do you think no one will every mess with Japan... because of there powerful military???? ha ha

Saving Japan Billions in defense spending.

    food 4 thought!

  • A Civil War ensued inside Japan as opposing forces could not agree on what to do about it. The entire Nation, it's People, Society, Economy, and everything else about it was completely changed starting in 1868 with the MEIJI RESTORATION... the start of building a MONSTER WAR MACHINE (aka: "THE IMPERIAL JAPANESE EMPIRE"), so another "PERRY INCIDENT" would never happen to Japan again... all thanks to WHITE AMERICA.

The IJA emerged, thanks to the USA, and everything it did up to August, 1945!!

  • BTW, the only reason Japan did not become a Colony of America was because of the US CIVIL WAR, which lasted from 1860 - 1865, during which time America was unable to do anything else Militarily except fight it's own Internal Civil War.

Japan used the time to settle it's internal differences, decided what to do, developed plans, and then proceeded to do so.

Even after 1865, Southern Reconstruction occupied the USA. By 1868, it was already too late for the USA to bully or conquer Japan.

  • sorry the coment was ment for asian american

  • What's your problem... can't stand to hear the truth... that the USA in July, 1853 (and it was WHITES who controlled the country back then), sent Commodore Mathew Perry to Tokyo to invoke Gunboat Diplomacy on Japan (who did nothing to anyone for the previous 253 years, until the USA forced the complete opposite)... "OPEN UP FOR TRADE... OR ELSE!!"

Perry threatened to commence Naval Bombardment of Tokyo, to Burn it to the Ground, and BBQ everyone in it too!!

Japan was unable to stop Perry.

  • AsianAmerican68 needs a bullet in his head.

  • wow the story to that is sooo sad

  • you Dick!!!!!!!!

  • that was a little bit overboard, but im not disagreeing your claims...

  • It was a sneak attack and no the president didn't know some us military knew about possible attack on pearl harbor from these Japanese but they thought pearl's harbor military received the intercepted messages as well.

  • "Are you really as stupid as you sound?"

You should really ask yourself this question

  • Notice the bulk of the US effort (both men and equipment) initially went to EUROPE first.

That is why VE day happened first, before VJ day. Only AFTER VE day, did the US get really serious about maximum effort to fight Japan.

  • yeah he is right its a direct attack and its a blitzkrieg(sudden attack)

  • Pearl Harbor was NOT a "SNEAK ATTACK", so please STOP calling it that.

    Wanna see the proof?

YouTube: "THE BONES OF STATION H"

  • it was a sneak attack you fucking idiot

  • dude, your such a fucking retard

  • dude, your such a fucking retard

  • The US Government finally declassified the actual documents proving FDR was guilty of goading Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor. Wanna see it?

    Google: "The McCollum Memo"

    Wikipedia: "McCollum memo"

And get ready to ______ in your pants!

You were ignorant fools up to right now of FDR, and never knew it... lol!! What a joke!

All the people who DIED in the War between Japan and the US have FDR to thank.

Let's give CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE!!

Who was the REAL WAR CRIMINAL OF WWII? FDR!!

  • my dad was in that war and he is dead

  • The US did NOT have to enter WWII. It was a NEUTRAL Country. Oh we were sending "supplies" to both the UK and Nationalist China, but had no direct involvement.

The US was in an ISOLATIONIST Mood with no desire to continue WWI in Europe or anywhere else. The People of America were not dying anywhere, and they wanted to KEEP IT THAT WAY.

Then, along came Churchill. Germany was POUNDING England, and Churchill was begging FDR for the US to enter WWII on the Allied side against Germany.

  • woooooooooh ghooooost

  • Late at night, you can still hear some of the trapped sailors..

... tap tap tap... tap tap tap...

.. trapped in the ghostly dead hulk of the ship.

  • Thats not funny dude.

  • do you think they resorted to cannibalism???

  • did they get all the men that were stuck in there out?

  • no.

after the attack, they tried to weld into the ship to rescue the sailors trapped in compartments with air pockets, but because there was still so much fuel left in the arizona, a few divers died, and the sad part is that when guards were on the arizona in the aftermath, they could hear the trapped sailors tapping on the walls for up to a week!

but no, most of the bodies are still in the arizona

  • dang thats very sad, i didnt know that thanks!

  • Great info, is there a reason that the sailors are left in the ship? I would have thought families would want them returned. Would it have been considered a dishonor to remove them, back in 1941 I mean? Has anyone ever entered the ship to document the findings and saloirs remaining on-board? Sorry for all the questions, I am going to Hawaii and hope to visit this site in July.

  • even now, there's so much fuel in and around the ship that its still unsafe for divers to try to cut into the ship

and as for somebody entering the ship and retrieving documents, i don't know whether they did that or attempted it

  • a ghost

  • wtf was that thing flying across at :15

  • It was a flower.

  • i saw a program on hte history channel that said the american miliitary let this happen so america could enter ww2.they took away the code deciphers so that pearl harbour wouldnt know the japs were coming, crazy shit!!

  • Thats a very construed version of things ... there were signs and things were known but there was not grand attempt of the navy or government to 'let' it happen. Our carriers were gone is suspicious but we would have protected the oil reserves for instance if it was planned....

  • YouTube: "THE BONES OF STATION H"

  • those are the gun turrets that are still visible.

  • that isnt the smoke stack above the water, that's one of the mountings for it's big guns

  • i was there too, and the smoke stack is still above water. x.x

  • All of the topside superstructure that remained and smoke stack was cut away. The top of #2 turret was cut away to remove the guns. Turrets #3 and #4 were removed leaving the empty barbettes. The big ring that protrudes above the water is the barbette where the #3 turret sat on. #1 turret and guns are still in place as they were too badly damaged to be salvaged.

  • i c

  • no frickin way man.
