I know Gamespy sucks. Their servers suck and whenever I host I lose connection in 2 or 3 minutes.

Do you have addons to soar in Fsx? Without you never find Thermals in Free Flight. If You don't have, try CumulusX and Simprobe.

no in the weather settings file in fsx there is a thermal visualization button choose schematic

in fsx when ur not in the missions can u even get thermals? i can never find them

You only can Find Thermals when you have the Freeware addon CumulusX and for Ridge Lift you need SimProbe. Than you have a lot of Fun with soaring in Fsx.

my game acts funny. i didnt have thermals before. and now for some reason i can see the swirls all over the place. its really odd.

im a real glider pilot when getting an aerotow imagine theres a box around the tug or tow plane and stay in the box and because you the glider is lighter it needs less speed to takeoff so fly straight and level until the tug or towplane has lifted off

Ok first things first immediatley after take off dont pull back on the stick actually push down a little so that you fly about three or four feet above the ground until the tow plane takes off... first off it makes it harder or the tow pilot to take off and second off if you go up to much you can pull the tow plane's nose into the ground.

But im just being technical and FSX is supposed to be fun so have fun:D great video:D

Hey there, nice video but in need of help. When i am flying in a glider on FSX, when still on the ground the wings are bent down, and when in the air they are still bent down! i don't know what is wrong with my simulator, please help! Because i see when you pick up speed the wings bend up like they should do but with mine they stay still, this is the same with all the other aircraft lke the 747 ect....... i don't kno what to do, can somebody please help me...

actually gliders are portrayed very well in FSX..m a real glider pilot and it feels ver realistic...the wing bending is called anhedral effect
