ive been racing 2 years and i went to buckmore for a race weekend last year...i had a test session on the friday and we had finished for the day and got packed up...my friend went down and took his kart but he wasnt racing because he had a broken arm and he asked me too test it out...i went round in the wet in the dark and there were novice drivers and one of them spun violently out of control infront of me and flipped...fukin scared mate

Im one of the few people Ive known to fall out of a cart. They very rarely tip over like this. Its when one super sticky tyre hits another.. thats when it goes proper bad.

its a lot safer without seatbelts and we are required to wear neck braces. Most people wear rib protecters too

PS: When I was younger the neck braces saved my life in a hard crash, it was like the vid /watch?v=bBfmTes_P6w but my crash was harder.

seen a lot of crashing in karting, had my fair share aswell. the worst i've seen was involved two racers, one going full speed thru a straight the other almost in a stop sideways. His tonykart was split in hlaf, and he didnt have a scrath...

Just saying, the only fatality we ever had at Grattan Road Course here in Belding, Michigan, happened somewhat like this when a kart hit the hill in the esses, flew through the air sideways and the kid nailed his head on the cement barrier behind the hill.
