  • If John Cena is so bad, then Randy Orton is a lot worse. He is the Warrior of this generation. At least Cena sells moves better than Orton, and has a good locke room attitude.

  • @Tvtech9

I thought Batista was the Warrior of this generation...

  • Smarks are idiots. All that matters is drawing money putting asses in the seats, get over with the crowd that's it. Cena has it, Triple H has it, Angle, Bret, Shawn, Hogan, Taker, they all have/had it. You do what brings in money that's all that matters. If smarks don't like it they can turn the tv off.

  • In Eddie guerrero's autobiography he says that his dad taught him that it doesn't matter if the fans boo or cheer what matters is that you get a rwaction. cena gets a reaction. that's a good thing.

  • Guys, I don't know as much as you do but could you please tell me if WWE and Cena made the right move of making his character less edgy and forever a babyface? I know it's PG but is this the right thing to do?

  • What's up with the blurring ??? I feel like I'm watching a re-released "Invasion" DVD.

  • haha, well, it's pretty much the same reason(why we've "WWF'd" up our old videos). Trouble with WWE!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • To be fair, the definition of a good "worker" was altered by guys like Flair, Bret, HBK, etc. putting out books with who THEY claimed were good and bad workers. All of em buried Hogan.

  • Well, the 'definition' of what constitutes a 'good worker' varies. Those sort of guys(Flair, Bret, Michaels, etc.) are of the type whose definitions would center more towards the athletic wrestler, but what we mean by Cena & Hogan is that the whole purpose of wrestling, like any other business, is to make money, and while those three certainly did to a degree, Hogan & Cena certainly make a shitload of money in their version of 'working,' which is different than theirs.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • "you're not a good wrestler" crosses the line? Does nobody remember Rock/Jericho with the will he win the big one angle? Rock said flat out "The reason you haven't won the big one is you are not that good" there was nothing wrong with that. You're reading too much into something because you hate Triple H.

  • Not really. Jericho wasn't getting a lot of heat from half the audience at the time. I won't argue that WWE never booked Jericho to be credible anyway(which they haven't, btw, heh), but you could also say it doesn't cross the line because it was just weaving a thread of reality into the storyline based on what was actually happening(one of the reasons people hate Cena is his 'ability'). However, The Kliq has a history of using their characters as an excuse to undermine people, heh.

    -E

  • Cena may be the best thing to happen in the WWE in a long time. He's extremely marketable, and versatile. Love him or hate him, he *does* get a reaction. People will either pay to see him, or pay to see him get the shit kicked out of them. There aren't many shades of gray between fans.

He's also got the ability to cut really solid promos. His in-ring skill may be limited, but that's really all you could come to expect from most any WWE Main-Event star.

  • believe it or not...alot of wrestlers start off as good workers (rock, austin, cena, hogan, billy gunn [smoking gunns billy] etc.) but once they get insanely over and develop their mic skills thats all they lean on and they become lazier in the ring, and their moves are more predictable....especially during the attitude era where punch, kick, punch, kick, became the norm for working "main event" style.

  • Bret was the only top guy who was still consistent in every match he did

  • Austin probably would have been to had he not gotten injured in 1997. When he came back in late 2000, his matches in the next year or so were incredibly better post-surgery. However, once he was starting to break down in 2002, they returned to their 1998 formula I believe.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • @WrestlingRoundtable I still don't understand why people despise John Cena so much, I mean sure, he is not a great worker, but at the end of the end of the day it's about drawing cash and putting butts in seats and Cena does a good job at both. And with the right guy he can have an awesome match. There are worse workers than John Cena (mutters:) Jeff Hardy...

  • cena is my fav every since his heel turn, his skills's are meduim, he's not the greatest but he can get the job done when it comes to money

  • Some people don't even watch wrestling cause of Cena or just turn the channel when he's on. I really doubt that Cena's merch sells more then DX but if that's the case, it's because most fans have left and like almost all of the pop culture scene anyone can be on top if given the right fad.

  • i think its comical how the WWE acts like the joking wigger cena character ("we know beef, we listen to eminem") never happened . they go from ruthless aggression to the brock promos. i liked it when big show "battled him" and without meaning to, killed him. ("kobe bryant") atleast they never teamed him w/super calo n Killings. anyone remember how we veiwed soldiers post-pat tilman? why does he get away with being a "marine"? this guy would run from gunfire in a heartbeat

  • X-Pac Didn't Get Heat Because He Sucks. He Got Heat Because of Idiot 'Smarks' who can't judge a good fucking Wrestling Match.

  • No, he got heat because all of his matches were exactly the same.

From the time he stepped between the ropes, X-Pac did the same routine over and over again.

Its like Bret's "5 Moves of Doom", except for X-Pac his whole match is one long Move of Doom.

  • Wow, very intelligent of you.....

Such a compelling argument deserves an equally intelligent response.

    EAT A DICK, BITCH!!!

  • No one who spells "you" lazily like "U" should be calling anyone else a retard. Go troll someone else, dipshit

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • X-Pac was recovering from his third broken neck and trying to adjust his style untill he fully recovered. Try wrestling with the kind of pain he was going through. it only lasted for his last few monthes at wwe. Later on he won back the crowd. look at his 2005 run at TNA. If you think that all his matches are the same then you clearly haven't seen that many of them.

  • I followed the last two years of his WWE run and a lot of his matches were the same.

I admit that I didn't watch him in TNA, mainly because I stopped caring for TNA back when Jeff Jarrett wouldn't drop the strap to anybody.

Maybe his TNA run was better, I'll try to find some of those matches now that you've recommended them, but his late WWE work just didn't hold up.

  • @stewartkee TNA WILL CHEEERS ANYBODY JUST TO TRY TO MAKE THEM LOOK BETTER ON THEIR PROGRAM INSTEAD OF THE WWE.

  • agree

  • The reason Cena is so hated is because he is so pushed.

  • Thats an interesting comment, do you think that the fans turned on him becuase hes on TV too much or has been on top for so long? I think alot of guys who get pushed are hated or are artificially over because they are over pushed (HHH, Orton, Big Show)...its almost like the fans are just sick of those characters. Consequently people like Mysterio and Jeff Hardy are insanely over and they barely get a true long term push. Do you think Cena falls in either category?

  • In all honesty I never liked Cena but i think the reason he was over in the first place which was not as much as the WWE tried to convince people he was is because he did have an edge which has been gone for a long time now. The biggest problem is that when the fans boo him the WWE say hes "controversial" and continue to push him.

  • Cena is the star! He is the most over guy in the comapny and that is why he is on top. He is the most talked about wrestlers period. No one is talking about orton or triple h because no one gives a shit about them. Thats why the main event at WM25 was for cena's spinning belt. Vince isn't stupid he knows who his money maker is. Check the ratings and merchandise sales. The wrestling roundtable gets that. Cena is the star!

  • Oo eeeerr...........I suppose....

Hulk Hogan's fanbase spands for generations. Cena's only for this generation

  • Well yeah because Hogan was and will always be an American "Hero". Cena just collects fans based on sex appeal for the ladies and fad appeal for the kiddies.

  • i like edge and triple h and al but im sick of seeing done champion let younger people being champion put it on the brian kendrick or shelton benjamin not just edge john cena triple h

  • The fans first started booing Cena back in 2005/2006 simply because they had him win every single match, night after night. I stopped watching (for the most part) back in early 2006, though, so I can't really comment much past that point.

  • actually your comment's just as relevant as the present time!

  • he doesn't win every match now. in 2008, he lost several matches on PPV, and he's also lost on Raw to Shawn Michaels and lost in the elimination chamber.

  • not much if you ask me!

Even IF he is NOW losing matches, it doesn't make up for his two year long title runs! Especially when he "defeated" bobby lashley, a potential World Champion!! Bullshit move by WWE!!

  • it "doesn't make up" for his two year long title runs?

so your gonna hold that against him forever? hell, lets not stop there. by your logic, anyone who's ever committed a crime should be punished forever, whether it be murder or just stealing a wallet or j walking across the street.

  • NOT forever, just about until he STOPS getting over 100 days worth of title runs!!!

I didn't mind the first time, but the second time was a nightmare!!

I am just pissed that in his 365 days run, he beaten some superstars would've made GREAT world champions! Bobby Lashley most of all!!

We've SEEN Cena as champion! Let's try something new! Wouldn't you agree??

And not just Cena, Edge's just as bad!

Eight freaink world titles in less than 3 years??

    Triple H never done that!

  • In fact, the WWE should at least have him go in non title feuds!! For godsakes SEVERAL main eventers didn't have John Cena's run of world titles!! Except maybe Triple H's heel runs...

John Cena's a good wrestler, but he's overly pushed!! I don't care how much charisma you have, NO wrestler should have two year long title runs in a row!! It's boring!! And it is repetitive to the FIRST year long run!!

if it is THIS the way WWE plans to get money...(pluas other things)

    I am NOT impressed!!

  • To this day I still am upset about that. I thought Lashley and Cena could of had a great rivalry. But they F'd up they did not continue with that. Lashley would have been a great champion. Now we will never know.

  • nice to know I am not the only one who thinks so

  • Its simple.

Cena is disliked by hardcore fans because he is a poor wrestler who has been given a huge push. Simple as that.

  • I say he is NOT a POOR wrestler but yeah, he has too many pushes! For godsakes he had 2 year long title runs!!

NOBODY cared for it! I wanted to see him loose, just to see a new champion...especially if the opponent IS NOT Edge!!

  • Ok poor maybe was harsh, he WAS poor he is now extremely average. TOO average for the massive push he has been given. His character is far too stale now, he needs to go heal.

  • I concur

  • John Cena's got the Rocky Maivia paradox, but in reverse, he started out as a charismatic heel and people started to like him then they turned him into the overall prototypic good guy

  • I'm glad they've not had Cena spinnerize the Big Gold or else I'd boycot WWE.

  • does anyone think john cena is a wolfie d an jc ice [pg-13] gimmick. i must be getting old.

  • I think maybe within a few years Cena won't be " THE MAN"or "THE GUY" in WWE. I mean just look at Batista or even Orton, but I think he might do better as a heel even though he has that female and children demographic audience, but with WWE going PG Cena could be "THE MAN" for atleast 2-3 more years.

  • Cena is a bad wrestler. But I think the main reason he is so disliked is that he is the face of the WWE at a time when the product is so awful. People miss the Austin/Rock era and the current wrestling product is nowhere that time period.

  • Cena is boring & WWE is stale. What kids and women think should be irrelevant. I certainly dislike Cena for his lack of wrestling ability, the reason why he is boo'd by the majority of other smarks is because he is piss poor to watch in the ring. He's not a wrestler so why should he be appreciated as one? At the end of the day it's WWE that's showing this shit. WWE is an abomination to the wrestling world.

  • When women & kid are making up such a money-making demographic for WWE, then I guess they shouldn't be irrelevant, heh. I think there's plenty more reasons why people boo Cena now, as opposed to simply "he's a bad wrestler." I certainly think that's a factor, but I think it's become much more than that. And to be fair, WWE can still - once in a blue moon - do something good when they want to. Though I'm inclined to be on the "abomination" side :) Thanks

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I see what you're saying but I was stressing women and kids should be irrelevant because surprisingly enough WWE still does claim to be wrestling. They're hypocrites because how can they claim to be wrestling when they're catering for a woman and child audience rather than a proper wrestling audience. I hear the Attitude era was better than this current state. Do you prefer the Attiude era or this bullshit we have today?

  • You're right, there probably are others reasons for Cena being disliked but really it's largely because he is a shite wrestler. That is the number one reason, for sure. For a wrestling company to do something good once in a blue moon just doesn't cut it. I don't know about you, but I will not settle for that anytime I want to watch wrestling. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

  • Of course it doesn't cut it, and that's why I don't watch it anymore outside of some PPVs. I don't settle either, and I'm glad you don't because that's a message we're trying to get across with the Wrestling Roundtable show itself - demand better! Don't settle! This show is almost a last ditch effort to affect wrestling in some positive form, hope it works! Thanks

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Yeah, It's cool what you're doing here with WR. It's nice to see a show by fans for the fans. Keep up the good work!

  • How can you discuss it if you dont watch it?? That's just stupid, respect what they are doing!!! Your not gonna make a 'change' to wrestling if your just sitting there talking...

  • Since when does WWE claim to be wrestling? heh, if it was up to them, I'm sure they've love to change that middle "W" in their name, ha. But we all know the majority of the country won't go along with calling it "sports entertainment" either like I'm sure they'd prefer. Besides, who said women & children don't like "wrestling?" heh, anyway, I don't prefer either time period, to tell the truth. Both have very little positives & mostly negatives. I prefer earlier WWF.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • imo they need to push some other people, yeah he is a huge guy in the merch end of things, and great on the mic, but i think they need to push someone that has either good in ring talent, or someone that was in wwe in 2001-2004 that havent had a heavyweight title in wwe like christian if the rumors of him in the jeff hardy storyline are true. if they made cena heel that would be decent to, i still wouldnt like him but it would be something different then now.

  • This looks like an old WWF video with all the blurring. What's being blurred out?

  • WWF pictures, appropriately enough

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • the only reason i bought the cena acton figure was so i could beat the hell out of his figure

  • Well, you said "bought" & that means WWE got your money, so someone paid for his figure & they win, heh

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • i bought it second hand for it was in a box of legend figures that i wanted and to get the legends i had to take the cena figure I only gave 5 bucks for the box though

  • E! We gonna get a new season soon?

  • A few more weeks. Soon!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • what do you guys think about cena holding the belt so long ?

  • I think that if they turned Cena heel it would please the Male audience but really turn the women and children audience.

  • i never understood that...ever wrestler i liked i liked no matter weither they were face or heel.

  • why do you upload year old videos ?

  • So people can ask me why

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I am so happy Cena actually lost tonight on RAW. I really dont like Triple H or Cena Triple H Buries who he pleases in the Company an dCena gets superpushed But I do respect him and sometimes I hate him. I love him for his hard work ethic but I hate him for his lame moveset and boring promos and lack of In-Ring skills. I said it once and I'll say it again and watch me get flamed to hell guys like SHELTON BENJAMIN and JOHN MORISON should be the main champs because they have true SKILLS!

  • t's true though I was getting bored of him Cena was really getting booed to the point where it got noticed when H came in. Me and my buddy like "WTF? Do you hear r they booing him?" oh well I hated HHH 2 but who knows the less of 2 evils I guess. What do you think about this Wrestling roundtable? Another reason why I hate Cena is bcus I feel he sux as the big 2 in this generation. U know like Hogan n Warrior 80's, Rock and Stevv=e 90's n now Cena and Batista. Sort of he's not the right guy 4 me

  • you know i really would'nt mind cena if it weren't for in EVERY match there is point where a he takcles you down you get and he tackles you down again the you get up and go for a clothesline and he hist the back suplex bomb thing then hits 5 knuckle shuffle look it up it happens in every match he's in!!!

  • I used to be hot & cold on Cena. after seeing him live, I've been cheering him ever since b/c he is one of the best workers ever. great vid.

  • 'Ever' is a little high, heh, but anyway, thanks

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • thats how wwe has been doing there stars for the last couple of years. Just limiting wat they do. look at some of cena's old stuff he has the moves. whenever u see these stars go to another promotion like roh they showcase some moves they dont do in wwe.

  • Great Vid! I don't like Cena but he may get a little better before he retires. :-)

  • Thanks

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I don't see Cena as limited. He's no Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, or Shawn Michaels, but I don't consider that limited. He's expanded his moveset considerably since Wrestlemania 22, even 23. I'm not going to go on saying his hour long match with Michaels was the greatest thing ever, but Cena did his role. Sure he has a "cycle of moves....of doom" but who really doesn't? Michaels, Kane, even Triple H. Overall I know he's not the greatest guy ever, but he doesn't deserve nearly as much crap as he gets.

  • that'a bullshit. another apologetic comment by someone that wants so much to love Cena so you find him make-believe qualities. the guy still sucks in the ring.

  • My thoughts on Cena: Well, I respect John Cena in real life, because from what I hear, he's one of the hardest working people to ever be in WWE and I can tell, because he's always making appearances everywhere from Wish Foundation to 106 and Park to Red Carpets. As far as his character goes, it's a little stale right now, but I can tolerate it, But I think they need to do something new with his character..maybe a new theme song or something.

    good video.

  • Thank you, & thanks for sharing your interesting thoughts!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • so so much better than cena...cena will never match up to the biggest names in the industry...first off, the ones we still have today...triple h, shawn michaels, kane and the undertaker...etc. cena will never match up...he can stay in the business as long as these guys or even longer but will never make such an impact in the lives of the wwe fans

  • actually, im paying money to see cena get injured...lol...but yea you mentioned kurt...cena will never match up to him....kurt, although not big amongst the wwe fans, is an incredible wrestler...cena has been on his high horse for way too long....i like how they got these young guys making a name for themselves but i think randy deserves a bigger spotlight...and hogan...i dont like him at all...all my life i loved the undertaker(i saw his debut and loved him ever since)...but hogan is so

  • So this was a year ago, clearly, but NOW, do you still think Cena's skill is still sub-par?

  • Sure, heh. It's not like he's improved or anything. He's the same wrestler he was a year ago, which is the same he was a year before that. He can have some good-even great matches, but I'd kill to know who his agent is, should he have one, because whoever it is really lays out matches perfectly designed for his limitations. Cena would admit himself, I'm sure, that he's no Bret Hart, but like we said, he can have good matches, even with his terrible form :) I look forward to his matches

    -E

  • I do! He only has what? Two new moves?

Not only that, he's being pushed BEYOND proportions! For godsakes let some other guys have the spotlight!!

  • I too want other guys in the spotlight but I don't Cena is the one holding them down. Guys like Batista and HHH are the ones holding people down. Since the brand extension, HHH has mainevented everyone he's been healthy for, atleast for his show. Cena is overpushed at times and is a little corny as well, but that is the direction the company is headed. I don't know why Cena gets more heat than Batista, a guy whose love for the biz doesn't come close to Cena's. Cena lives it.

  • I would hope so. He's worst than ever. Burn you Cena dolls.

  • great video

  • Thanks!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I've been giving it some thought, and IF (big if) WWE were to turn Cena heel, it could very well be on par with Hogan being the 3rd man at Bash at the Beach.

  • Hogan was(is) the most famous name in wrestling history, and had become that as a babyface over the course of over ten years on the national level. Cena is neither of those things, heh. I could be wrong, but Hogan turning heel at BATB 96 changed wrestling history, sparking a "golden era," and I don't foresee Cena's potential heel turn having quite the same effect, imo

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I don't know how Hogan got away with his style, but it's probably because he's not a gluttonlike heavyweight like Andre or Yokozuma.

Cena's getting away with crap like Hogan did, but unlike Hogan, it's ONLY working moneywise and not on a fanbase. Of course the WWE will run with it!

I can't believe the biggest wrestling company of all time is the most money grubbing! They release talented wrestlers like, D-Lo Brown, and push crap like Cena/Orton

  • As i think you already know, im not Cena's biggest fan but i know why they put in the position he is in. I think turning heel is too late now. And i lost interest in him ages ago, but enough from cena, Why not a black man?

  • IT'S 2009 NOT 2008

  • Thanks for the info. Give me a minute and I'll just go back in time to tell myself that a year ago when we shot it

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • once again lawrence is funny as hell

  • I get the feeling that HHH is jealous that Cena is the top guy in the WWE and not him. Sure he isn't the most technical or fluid wrestler out there in the ring, but he even admits that himself. And like Eric mentioned, he manages to have a good match regardless of his "skill" level. Like it or not, 2005 to now is going to be known as the Cena Era in WWE. Lets give credit where it's due that despite his "skill" and unconventional path to the top, he still got there and stayed there.

  • hey wrestling roundtable, jeff hardy is the champion finally 6 years too late. can u give your thoughts on that?

  • I don't like Cena cause of the way WWE shoves him down your throat. One day, I truly believe Cena will go heel though.

  • who cares about shit wwe kids program ?

  • Millions of people, obviously. Duh

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Why is that shirt blurred out?

  • It probably has a WWE superstar on it.

  • I think the story is well known by now, isn't it? It's so WWE - or anyone else, for that matter - can't flag us again

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I think dudes just hate Cena because they are jealous. Like it was said in the video, women and kids love him. The dudes are just jealous because their girls want him and the kids idolize him

  • I beg to differ!

I am a dude, i do not "envy" john cena! Hell, i thought it was great he kicked JBL's ass in Wrestlemania!

But for godsakes, he had more than one title reign that lasted almost a year! Not only that, the WWE had him beat wrestlers the HE should LOSE to! I mean, I am sorry, but I draw the line if Cena somehow out of nowhere beats a man like Bobby Lashley!

  • I don't envy him either, but that is my theory for most of the dudes who hate him.

I must say, I look at wrestling as a fan, not critic. But, I have a good eye for things. And I would have never known that Cena was a bad wrestler until I started to hear people say it. That's probably the issue, people lets others OPINIONS affect their own and then it's warped from opinions to common knowledge

  • I agree with you Eric, while the Spinner Belt does sell a lot of fake's,it is HORRIBLE.

  • How much value do U think that belt has if any?

  • None.

  • 1/20/08

  • Thankfully, someone who reads & listens!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Hey, I'm a big fan...

    I'm a wrestling fan of 39 years since 1970...

I just want to say ERIC SANTAMARIAVILLADELTORO sucks ass...

  • Here's my ass - start sucking

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • when was this recordet?

  • I like Cena as a person but like all the smart marks or internet fans I dont like his wrestling abilty at all, even if a wrestler doesn't have a lot of moves, that wrestler could still be fluent and have skill and ring knowledge but with Cena its equivalent to botchmania no joke. His ok on the mic but even his mic skills are limited at times at the end he always says "THE CHAMP IS HERE" which is so annoying to a point.

I just wish they would refresh his character or change him heel.

  • He's still a pretty decent wrestler and a huge draw for the company, but i still maintain that there's a point where it becomes too much of the same thing.. especially with an extremely limited style like Cena's

  • The only reason that Cena hated by the fans is becaues the WWE give him all the credit and Best chances so fast without any hardwork career,Austin in the other hand who make his road so hard to make as the top ,Cena even become a Champoin in SHORT TIME ?!! make no since to me .WWE will never make him a heel as long they need him in there hand and make the fans especially teen & Kids rise there merchandise. Not a big fan of him BECAUSE WWE didnt make him as an ORGINAL WRESTLER like the old guys.

  • hold up...Austin offically signed with wwe in 95 and won the title in 98...3 years..cena signed in 2002 and won in 2005..which is 3 years too..please don't say they gave it to him to soon, fans at the time wanted him to be champ, same as austin.. if anything austin got to title in a "short time" to

  • but austin wrestled longer before winning than cena did

  • still cena sucks since 02; and i felt so great when in 05 people turned on him and begin to hate this child of satan

  • Cena's still ok in my book, don't know if he should be the top guy or if I'd be in favor of him having another year-long title run like he did before...Although I do like him having a bit more of an edge as a face like he has at times when he faces Jericho...I'd rather see him as champ than JBL anyday!

  • i don't think they will ever turn cena heel..again anyways..i know that they got something right now with him,his best of both world appeal but eventually thats gonna fade. im a fan of cena's and i know that even if they turn him heel, they took away most of his edge to the poit that they'll have nothing should they turn him. should have kept a trace of his former rap gimick to fall back on, and maybe form a stable with cryme time like they were doing before his second injury..but thats just me

  • You do bring up an interesting point that perhaps it's beyond the point of being effective should they turn him in the future. Perhaps the time would have been this year when he was on a huge losing streak. I'm curious to see how the first few months of this year play out for him, as that might be an indication of where he'll go post WM

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • the losing streak i believe should have been a pivitol point, as they could have had him lose his goddamn mind against triple h at night of champions when he lost, and that would have sparked some intrest. or they could have done it the night after survivor series where out of no where cena beat the holy hell out of jericho.the fans didn't seem to mind it lol but this year will be intresting no doubt for cena.he's not on the amazing train ride he was on during 07, i hope they do something for him

  • I wonder do you guys still have the same fillings about the situation a year later ?

  • I can only speak for me, but I'm still a fan of his. After making his surprise comeback at the Rumble(one of the best moments of the year, I think we'd all agree), they KILLED him, probably figuring he'd still be over no matter what, so he was made to look SO weak, the exact opposite of his "superman" run as champion the year before. I hated this, heh, but the match with Jericho at Survivor Series was great, so I'm happy he's at least one of the champions for the moment
