How are those pedal working for you? I have been putting in a lot of thought into getting a pair. I am currently using DW 5000's. Would you recommend Axis>

They're just perfect. I changed into Axis from Iron Cobras and what is important - you can set'em so that they feel the same way as chain drives and shortboards, AND by changing just one setting you can turn them into a real speedkiller that feels COMPLETELY different. Off course there are many other possibilities in between.

I tried Demon Drives, but didn't fall in love at all. Especially the beaters. Sonic Hammers are shit as well, but it's not the only reason. The board itself is much longer in Axis and the setting possibilities predestine you to play much faster and with more power. This is my personal point of view.

@iamboogyman They basically takes the sound and amplify it as soon as you hit one of the drums, and keeping anything that hits harder down to that level that it's amplified to if it's not sufficient enough. A common misconception is that they actually make the double bass easier, in actuality they don't, they only amplify the sound.
