HAD THAT PROBLEM BEFORE, It was always the same problem, seams would pull out of weak material on one side but not the other. Look along the boning channels (inside and out) for pulled thread or fraying material. never had the problem with higher end makes, only the cheap ones.
i personally would go with some that is longer and goes over the hips. girls who are tooth pick skinny cause pull those off. (the ones with no shape). never want your corset to fully close. If they close go down a size. Before you tie make sure to get everything situated cause once you start tie close you will no be able to re adjust. if it even on top then it could be your body. I only know one good place to get corsets so if any of you know good places love to know them
Way, waaaay wrong fit here. The corset looks unevenly made. Not much you can do to fix that. The bottom edge is also far too small for your figure. A longer corset would probably fit you better and help avoid the muffin top problem. (I always have that issue with off the rack corsets.) If you like this length, I'd suggest a custom corset made to your measurements. Other than that, my only suggestion for this one would be to wear it looser, so it doesn't cut into your hips so much.

I haven't supplied links because I keep getting an error message with them in.
I agree with this. measure the corset NOT on you. If it looks fine then, it is a problem with your body not the corset. If you do have scolosis you can wear a corset, but you have to get yourself measured for each side and custom made, so that it can fit you.
It does look incorrect, but a simple way to figure it out would be to just measure the length of each side from top to bottom. Then you will have concrete proof that one side has been cut longer than the other (Or that a few of the panels one one side have been sewn in the wrong positions).
@ddoughb504 I completely agree! I have a new overbust, over hip corset on its way in the mail right now from Orchard Corsets. Their corsets are magic and I havn't had a problem with them.
It's twisted, that's all. If you do up the hook/eyes in the front in a straight line it should fix the problem.
