  • I sure do remember Bristol in the late 70s early 80s. No one throws a parade as memorable as the Bristol 4th of July!

  • Very nice video. I attend this event. (Although some years I like to go to Bristol for their world class parade.) Rhode Island is so rich in history, with so many original buildings standing, it would be a real treasure trove for an Independent Lens film.

  • On the day they DO fire them three times - but it was all getting a bit long for the YouTube 10 minute limit! And truth to tell - the day I was there - the misfires due to musket fouling on the third volley made it sound a little miserable! The later shot where they form up and move out is after they had spent some time clearing muskets of unburnt powder and misfired cartridges.

  • i have a question for you why do the oly fire the muskets 2 times instead of 3 thanks
