I ask myself... If there wasn't any "conspiracy" behind all of this, why on earth would they have prepared at least 3 years in advance? Why do we have so many mass evacuations buses and internment facilities all over the country? Why have these facilites been manned with foreigners and why do we have so many foreign military people here since last year? What's the deal and why are people treating this like it's just some freak accident?

in florida we said no to any drilling off our coast and our constitution being amended to block them forever .we are supporting ethanol solar and wind technology..no one thing is going to displace oil .. .we dont lose what we have now just because we stop drilling oil.. its a false argument !im talking about using new technology to get us off our oil economy and get to something sustainable and clean that wont ruin our country in the process..

BJ they say excessive consumption of fuel partially caused this spill. I want to use an electric bike70769 to help save fuel I can make round trip to town with it but the police tell me it is illegal for me to use that bike bc it has an electric motor. In order to comply with the law I have to get the bile registered insured have a cycle endorsement among other things we are talking about an electric bike that goes 15 mph has a range of 12 miles. We have poor people that could really use these.

Booby, BP's OilSpew is still spewing. BP can't stop it. The Oil Industry can't stop it. If the Oil Removal process had been started in earnest on Day 2, maybe you would have had a chance. But by now BP & the Oil Industry has pumped at least 114Million Gallons of Oil into the Gulf of Mexico. To date, I've yet to hear any extimates of the Oil Removed by BP. My guess, it's a long ways from 114Million Gallons. You can't Remove Oil, if BP won't allow Oil Removal equipment into the Gulf. Lost?
